No idea about zx10 though. But yes, bike shop will keep the master key (red key) if bike is still under hire purchase.

but if they keep both the key tag (for zx10) and 1 ignition key and gave u only 1 ignition key, is it reasonable?? still have to pay like 60-70 to duplicate another ignition key for myself

that happens to every bike that is under hire purchase ... not just the ZX10.

 

Reason being is that in the event that you default your installments for more than 2 months, they will repossess your bike by unlocking your hadle lock and tow it back .... thats the reason that they keep 1 key for ...

Reasonable or not, that is their policy. I also only get one ignition key. The guy at the bikeshop said that the other key is at Evershine. When I went to Evershine to service my bike, the guy said the key is with the bikeshop...
