Hi, Selling my 08 R1. reserved on 220. able to ride till at least 45km after reserve light turn on.

Yamaha is a pretty reliable bike. Especially so in the recent years. No major problems. Only noisy engine but that should not be an issue. However Old R1s have conrod and valves issues. think they have fixed the issue since 2008.

Hello guys, i am riding 2014 model, can anyone advise the milleage bike can go till empty after the reserve ligh is ON? Is Pilot Rd 3 suitable? currently on super corsa and felt very slippery...thank you

Never try until empty but 20-25 still can survive

Hi Guys!!

I riding a R1 2015 model. Bt I have a issue abt the IU unit. The bike shop as install the IU on the right side above the radiator cooler tank. Gt no prob entering ERP gantries. Bt couldn't detect properly in most carpark which gt barriers. Could u guys enlighten me hw are ur IU units been installed?

Hi there bro... Not sure if urs is mounted this way?

Mine has no problem so far with any carpark gantry. Be it HDB carpark/shopping centres/hospital and also commercial buildings...

Oh forgot to add.... My IU now is covered with sticker wrap already and it's still ok. No issues at all :)

Yes bro!!!!!

Mine is mounted exactly the same!! Bt if I go to carparks the IU detector doesn't aligned the same direction. So have to push the bike back n forward. Those busy carpark drivers horn at me.

Yup all the way to the right side (bike lane). Hmm not sure what could be the problem. Maybe we should go the same carpark and try...

Hi Bro... Don't really get you. U mean you position your bike to the left side of the lane and sometimes center of the whole big exit lane (i.e. for cars etc.)?

Hmm ok bro... I've not experienced this problem so far even though our IUs are mounted at exactly the same position :/
