Hi, I need to check with the seniors here. Is it possible to trade in bikes thts still under installment to other bike shop..meaning not the same shop that you buy it from?

Yeah, it's been some time. I still miss my old R1. If I have the extra cash lying around, why not?

 

The only thing I don't like is the fact that the headlights are mounted under the fairings. Looks like a Mon Calamari to me. :D

But the bike is beautiful everywhere else.

If stationary too long, the rubber burning smell could be from the rubber sleeve from the cables (exhaust sensor)that is connected to the exhaust on the right side below the foot peg .

hey guys, i think it's time for me to upgrade and i was thinking about getting a r1/r6. since this is a r1 forum, may i know roughly what do i look out for when buying the bike? what sounds should i look for and the basic of the basic.

?

secondly, why is the price range for a 2004 - 2006 r1 around $9-10k, a 2007-2008 r1 around $10-12k and a 2009 suddenly comes up around $16k?

 

thirdly, anyone is selling their bike?
