While on the topic of BT-012ss, I'm told that there are two types - the regular BT-012 and stickier BT-012ss.

After my ME-Z1 front wears out, I'm thinking about riding down to S'pore to have the regular BT-012 fitted. Any of you guys know how much is a pair of regular BT-012 for 120/60-17 and 160/60-17?

I just saw a Wave fitted with Michelin Sport Pilot, front and rear. Wah, tok kong , man. Wonder where he got the tires and what sizes do these smaller michelin 'Sport Pilot' come in. Can't wait to try on some if I can get sizes that fit my bike! Anyone there know? :bounce:

Pilot Sport rubbers in Thailand?

In Thailand, you'd most probably be thinking more about rubbers for yourself than for your bike.

how much is a set of BT 012SS for a R1?

350-400 depending on bike shop and whether you need a 180/55 or 190/50 at the rear.

BT090F/BT090PRO

Hi, I be changing my tires soon. Just like to ask some questions regarding BT090.

1.If I go bike shop n change tires, do I just tell them BT090 or need to specify BT090F/BT090Pro?

2.Are BT090F/BT090Pro the same set of tires except one is the front(BT090F) and the other the rear(BT090Pro) or BT090F is 1 set and BT090Pro is another set?

Please enlighten me. Thks...

My bike came with Dunlops and I was a nervous wreck on wet roads. I switched to Metzler and the difference was amazing. I have never had a rear end slip since I got them (happened all the time before). Even at very slow speed the handling is much better.

I remember when sex was safe and motorcycles were dangerous.

Hi. Newbie here wif a CBR150. IRC tyres suck big time, nearly slided off the road during a LOW SPEED wet turn today. Muz change tires liao even tho the tyres r still fresh if i wanna stay alive. :giddy: As i'm new wif a small 2b (cos no one reallie seem to be discussing small 2b tyres in this forum), I'd like to ask for all CBR150 riders.. Wat is the recommended size and brand of tyre for this bike? Currently the IRC one is 80/90-17 for the front and 100/80-17 for the rear. I don't see much tyres ard this size except for BT39SS and TT900. I would like to have a fatter rear wheel like maybe 110/80 for a little more stability on straights and maybe a bit in curves. Cos I'm a biggie on a smallie kind of bike and it's damn insecure whenever I turn. Is it recommended? Pls guide me along..

Oops. Sorrie abt the prev. post. A bit blind these days.. Juz realised tat there is a LOT of help abt those tyres. Haii. Very sorrie for the inconvenience. Now juz wondering if it's okay to have a 120/80-17 BT39ss as a rear on a CBR150? Or should i stick to the stock which is 100/80-17? Both sizes r available on BT39ss..
