:D maybe that's why my LED blew. lol.

my drill is rated 2500RPM, the ones that the guy used is 6000RPM. what to do, my drill cost $30 only. :D

i'll take photos and post up the ring when i'm done tomorrow.. (:

6000rpm or not... as long as your drill bit is sharp it should be able to cut... The plastic rod is 7.5mm dia? you wanna drill 5mm this leave very little space for error...

Use a smaller drill bit to drill a pilot hole, also what type of drill bit you bought? make sure it is plastic compatible. If you bit is meant for other material, the cutting action might not be efficient.

Smaller drill bit require less force to cut. Pressure = Force / Area. So same force on a small and a big drill bit. the smaller bit has got more pressure for better cutting action.

i tink better not use microwave coz microwaves cook things inside out scully too intense the heat the rod bubble. well correct me if im wrong, another slow but effective way would be doing it above ur stove, on the biggest flame u have hold abt 6 - 10cm away frm flame and juz heat it up n slowly bend bit by bit of coz wearing leather gloves, however be careful as if it gets too hot or too near the flame it bubbles (and when it does tt's it u can use a new rod) so best is u practice over the stove wif a rod which is unwanted, not the 1 u already measured for ur headlight

if you just want to test the lighting up and correct connections, can buy a 9V batt and try. if you want to test real brightness at 12V, you can get small 12V batts (smaller than AAA). I forgot the model number of the small 12V batt but it is often used in car remote controls but a bit pricey just to test brightness.

Hmm guys so u connect ur Angel Eyes connection to bike headlite socket or reconnect to the bike's batt with a relay or swtich etc ?

i removed my parking light connector and plugged it in. Then again.. my bike with headlights that are able to be turned off legally. :cheer: leaving the parking/pole lights on only.
