personally, i'm quite short, 156cm tall and i weight about only 30-40. i heard somewhere that its best if I could touch my feet flat on to the ground so as to be able to balance the bike. some bikes the seat are abit too high and its abit hard for me to reverse my bike. and i just hopefully so, for test am i allowed to choose the bike which is best suited for me? or there is only a specific bike to use and only that bike?

I'm thinking cubs will suit you. But then again, with the right practice, i think you can ride ANY bike you desire. :)

Okay. Which school will/are you currently taking your 2B licence at? BBDC? SSDC? CDC? From my understanding, BBDC and SSDC uses the Honda CG125 while CDC uses the Yamaha YBR 125. The CG125 is lower than the YBR i think.

Then again, since you cannot choose the bike, you can always practice more on the bikes at the schools, then once you passed you can get yourself a kapcai(cub)!

have u taken ur first lesson? try out the bikes and see which u feel more comfortable with.

er..are u a girl btw? if ur taking at bbdc, they allow use of the sonic 125cc.

as a cub, its really light and power-wise its not too shabby, the seat height and handlebars are very low.

for tp ur not allowed to pick a specific bike, u'll be assigned to a random bike, however considerations will be made in view of ur height.

just raise ur hand when they ask, and tell them what bike u need. like if ur using the cub for normal pracs, during test u'll be assigned a cub, if ur riding a bike with low-cut seats, u'll be assigned a bike with a lower seat.

oh yeah, evaluation is conducted by the centre, its pretty much like a normal prac where u can pick ur bike, the only difference being that u'll be assessed as u ride.

ya...im a BBDC learner. first prac i fell twice and thus to say i still want to do this after some thought. on my first prac they gave me the CB125, which was quite heavy for me but as time spent on the bike, i get to familiarise myself with it abit but i still fall. its abit to high for me and i'm tip-toeing and i barely able to reverse the bike. soon i ask for a change on the bike, got the sonic 125 instead and tats when i noe its the bike suited for me...

hence, if i were to take my evaluation and tp, i was just wondering if i could possibly use that bike instead of the CB125 jus it would seem easier on me....still, many friends have encouraged me to go ahead and just keep trying...but im abit demoralised after the first prac which i fell twice...but i still haven't gave up truly yet haha..

yep, ur allowed to ride the sonic..

dun worry about falling, ive fallen so many times i feel sad for the bbdc bikes. as long as u dun hurt urself, treat it as a learning experience..find out what made u fall and how to prevent it.

keep going and u'll realise its all worth it in the end! all the best~ :D

baby, u're my love..

don't pant don't frown , im not very tall as well , 164? 165? im still riding . not the matter of the weight of the bike , its if u can find the center of gravity . u can still ride taller sit bikes , just alil unsafe in the sense that toe tipping not quite safe when u stop at traffic light or when the jam is really too heavy to siap in between . get a cub or something , they are shorter and lighter compared to sport/road bikes (and oh ya during my learning days at CDC , i freaking skid when i was doing e-brake , the worst part is , the next rider behind me was a pretty girl and she was laughing at me , f my life)
