Hi guys...any1 out there..i m currently wif yoshi..i reali curious on x1r yoshi..isit reali legal..i being hearing alot ppl saying not legal but i gt e lta cert..so is?

Hi, u bought ur bike with yoshi installed?

ur shld cert consist of

-1x receipt frm bikeshop/yoshi distributor(motoworld)?

-1x JCMA muffler certification card

-1x inspection ackowledgement letter frm LTA

-3x pages Yoshimura product installation instruction manual?

 

hope this clear ur doubts... correct me if im wrong thou...

It shouldn't be illegal bah. Spark and x1r is similar to one another if not completely the same. It'll be weird if fitting a yoshi on an x1r is illegal yet fitting one on a Spark is legal. By the way, nice ride bro !

yup both spark and x1r have the same engine but you have to understand JCMA has yet to give the green light for x1r to install yoshi legally... shld be very soon i guess...

 

A recent incident my friend riding RXZ got caught and fined by lta for using a stock unmodded old model 3bs exhaust when his bike model was the catalyzer type... both have same engine wat? Yes its weird but this is how sg gahmen works leh...

 

Hopefully bro noob have a peace of mind riding a street legal exhaust... do update us k..thanks...

i once saw a spark with a full yoshi pipe,,but the pipe was a double pipe meaning 2 endcans one above the other connected in like a V shape to the header~

Are you sure it's 2 endcans on top of each other and not just 1 yoshi full system and the other is the air intake on top of the endcan ?

much more powerful then my old GPR pipe type...

hands down guys...

but the problem is that i've not yet gone thru inspection with lta, so wanna know if any of the X1R-ians here have already installed the pipe and gone thru lta inspection...

Wahh, now Spark is like the in thing uh. So many street legal exhaust for spark already. GPR, Yoshimura and now Leo Vince also. WOOTS ! So many choices. But sadly, now then come out ! I bought my GPR like long time ago. Sad.

yup.. great news for all Spark riders.. but im myself still considering whether to get Leo Vince, GPR or Yoshimura full-system exos.. but i heard lotsa reviews from spark riders outside dat they recommend yoshi as the best exos for spark... just wonder why they say dat.. is it becos of the look or the aggressive sound dat they fancy..?

 

btw does anyone know wads the pricing for these exos..? and wads the diff between these exos esp in terms of exos sound, performance wise etc..?

I think the Yoshi wins in the aesthetic category hands down. However most still claims that the 1st gen GPR is still more powerful.

I think the one I saw is a different one than pictured in one of the advertisers thread. The one fitted on the x1r on the advertisers thread looks abit bigger than the one I saw at another shop.
