bro, my suggestion, is dun save on 2t, it may seem all the same, but 2Ts make a big difference on your bike where you can't see. Cheap 2T on the long run, harms your bike's response. How? All the unburnt 2t, especially mineral 2T or semi-synthetic 2T's clogges up your exhaust and that leads to a sluggish response. My suggestion? go for fully synthetic ones like esso gold or if you have the money, motul.

no point saving on the short term and in the end in the long run, spend more money on overhauling the engine.

Just my 2 cents. :)

jb cheap2 .... cut and burn the exhaust pipe ... even top service is cheap nowdays ...

so imo ...

cheap 2t lead to more exhaust smoke that means nea fine ...

that's about it as buying expensive 2t will also cover the cost of the maintenence ...

again ... IMO

castrol i use. Bikey become smoke machine. Paisey liao when stop at junction. Everyone look at me. wakakaka. Penzoil is good. Motul is good. Agip is good. can try and see the diff..

Rxz is a very reliable 2 stroke bike,no need to run on full syn -engine oil ,it is a waste of money ,Shell vsx 2t is the recommended 2t for RXZ .good enough for daily use .

Piston & rebore is very cheap for RXZ , had mine done for less than $200 ,original piston somemore .the last rebore lasted me 3 years .

Do your maths and don't waste unnecessary money on 2T.

Tip to a healthy engine is do not overrev & do not leave engine running more than 5 mins stationary ,esp jams in causeway .

cheers

Sorry to ask, Shell VSX is semi-synthetic 2T?? How much one bottle? buy at shell petrol station or any good shop to get a better price?? Ah Boy can get what brand of 2T??? Thanks for all the help. I just got a RXZ after stopped eiding for 8 yrs so a bit rusty on bikes. Cheers.

I agree.... i am currently using semi-synthetic 2T(Penzoil Marine). Can say is that it clogs up your exhaust, spark plug and smoking. I am going to switch to Esso Gold already. It is RM 48 in JB Esso station..... best is not to save on 2T :p:P

Esso Gold is one of the good types, fully synthetic, but costs a lot and unless you run at race RPM all day, probably too good for your RXZ.

Better to be practical and go for the semi synth types from Shell and Esso. I have had better smoothness from Esso 2T for the 6 years I've ridden a Y125Z.

Highly recommended is Yamaha Super Oil 2T manufactured straight frm japan. I've been usin tis oil religiously for the past 6 yrs on my 2-stroker... no issue on piston or watsoever, minimal white smoke... suitable for all makes & models of bike at only $12 for a 1L can.
