haha! cycling and motorbiking not identical, though they're similar. well. thank you all for the invaluable tips! i'll try my best tomorrow. hope i don't mount kerb or fall and make a fool of myself!

 

what is not identical, but similar? kinda contradicting.. :sian:

 

you need speed to balance on both bike and bicycle.

 

you look when you wanna go on both.

 

you keep your weight on the outer pegs when you are turning left/right.

 

you can countersteer on both.

identical means exactly the same. similar means got most parts same but slightly different. i didn't go for pract today. waste 23.54. i'm down with fever, headache, sore throat, flu. :( too late to cancel. :'( the plank once you roll off is immediate failure? don't give up okay! with more practice i'm sure you would be able to cross it successfully. :)

hi all, im wondering if we have to hit the timings for fig 8 and crank even for pillion riding ?

can any girls here share if it is harder to pillion a big guy (or gal) thru those courses since they are heavier and more weight during turns... thanks~~ im damn scared i make someone fall... :(

no need. fig 8, crank course and slope just need to complete w/o falling..

 

no time limit.

just pray whoever behind u dun keep shake his/her butt.. my prat 5 time my friend 80+kg sit behind me keep shake his butt just for fun..

haha haha.. im scared of tt too.. but im also afraid that during fig 8 and crank , they may have their own style ( since they are bikers themselves ), then with diff angle, diff timing to lean, wah.. both fall in the " dog eat **** " style.. :faint:

Nope they don't take timing for the courses during pillion riding . There's not much difference actually , you won't really feel the weight when you're riding . If you're afraid , just go slower and take your time . Have faith in yourself or your pillion won't have faith in you .

 

Pillion riding is very fun , just relax and ride the way you usually do (:

omg i haven't gone for pract for almost 2 weeks, because i sick plus i go malaysia holiday. i think when i go back i'll forget everything. :(

 

u wun forget.. at most you will just kalang kaboh for awhile before you get the feel back... :angel:

tried my 1st pillion riding today.. was fun, but nt that easy to control esp during brakes bc im really petite and my pillion was bigger but she's really nice.. gave me tips and tolerated with my lousy braking.. haha.. thank u if u are out here..

Gaaahhhh. I screwed up during revision today. During slalom, at the second last cone, i mount curb and fell. Then crank course, the damn gear keeps going to neutral. Slope was ok. ebrake, very very very inconsistent. Either im too slow, or too fast.

shadowluva: You can do it, babe! I'm inconsistent for the plank too, but I suppose it's a matter of practice and when it comes to the assessment, a little luck. :cheeky:'

 

Anyways, I'm done with all my pracs! Waiting for TP end May! :sweat:

tip for plank is to focus and look far... play with your clutch level will do..

 

dun need open trottle at all... open and close clutch till you reach the end..

 

go and try during revision lahz..
