Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

there is daelim daystar... most are quite new... so the price might be quite high...

there is magna 125... but it is an ancient bike... a phantom 150 would be better than it...

still, overall phantom 200 should be the most well-rounded choice

i used to like the feel of ssdc cg125 when i haven got my license, but once u use phantom 200 for some time u will love ur phantom instead, i would really suggest u to get either phantom 200 or 150, dayster abit less power

ah yes, power to overtake. Also what's the different between a normal phantom on the fuel tank and a 'phantom custom' on the fuel tank. I was going down to get some food and saw that. Any differents?

if u are talking about 200, 'Phantom custom' emblem(the logo on fuel tank) is the older model made between 2000-2004. The sleeker emblem is the later models between 2005-2008-9.

If you're in Thailand then the Kawasaki Boss 175 is a slightly faster and easier to maintain 'baby cruiser' comparable to the Phantom.

I would not look at the Daystar, Magna etc as they look and sound even more underpowered. Though for a posing and light-duty commuting bike they do look great.

Bajaj Avenger - I wanted that until I thought about logistics (ie spare parts). A veteran Phantom is so much more bang for the buck.

You could also look at the new Zongshen 125cc cruiser that looks really nice. But ahem. 125cc.

If I wanted a really small 125cc 'comfort' bike I'd take a lighter CG125 and put saddlebags for something economical and comfortable. Or even better - Suzuki GN125 or Honda CM125 which you can get brand new for $1000 lol.

i saw a honda magna...2 cylinders v twin too.

..250 cc....

i was amazed at the look..the huge twin pipes really blow me away..

check this out.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ7VVt2YEuc&feature=related

it looks like the shadow and the phantom seem to share this parentage

Yup...

It looks a bit similar...

But i don tink there is any more 1st hand MAGMA around...

Honda steed looks similar to a phantom.

It looks slightly bigger, with a v-twin at 400cc.

Price range would depend on who's selling at the moment. I got mine for 1800 but had to spend another 1500++ to refurbish it.

Shiok, BUT the FC is not as good as a ta200. My old ta200 ride with a fully utilised top box clocked 38km/h. My current steed clocks 24km/h, and it's abt the top end FC for steeds. Ta200 is one of the most value for money rides. You will definitely not get better value if you upgrade in size.

I"m thinking to get a new bike which is similar to Phantom 200 as mine is going to due this coming October.

Unfortunately, Honda has no new model which is close to Phantom 200, any recommendations, bros, thanks.

You can consider Bajaj Avenger but in terms of performance, looks, no benefit over an old original Phantom. Infact my bike is much faster than Avenger it's not even funny. Will renew COE for sure.

I like the Avenger but with overpriced parts and no logistics, longevity is a big problem.

Cannot wait for Phantom II to come out as it's going to be a 2A bike. NSR 250 engine.

Hi, wondering is Bajaj Avenger 200 available in Singapore, where could I find Bajaj Avenger 200 in Singapore?

And how much does it cost?

Do I have any other alternatives besides Bajaj Avenger. Thanks.

I was seriously considering getting a firsthand Avenger but the Bajaj group on SBF doesn't seem to know anything about the model.

However I have personally observed a few Avengers in Singapore since 2008 or so so they exist. Like all Bajajs, it's best to enquire directly with Universal Motors to find out more.

Was not impressed at all with the bike's performance and engine sound. Too quiet. Twin spark plugs don't add anything to horsepower. Phantom 200's engine may be dated tech but it's more powerful while requiring less maintenance. And omg, the sound.
