Have you had your engine oil change after you had the bike?? If not probably could be engine oil need to be change.Whatever it is , try go for the basic and minor solution first then go for the bigger ones...Btw, Worn clutch plate could be a factor too causing difficulty in engaging.Hope you solve the problm..o_O

Full servicing was done on the bike b4 riding it

But does not happen very often.

hi amen 23, just wondering if you have seen the mechanics do the service infront of you or just verbally. When i got my ST they claimed they did a full service, plugs and engine oil etc.. but it was like 3 weeks that my plug go bad... And when i question them they cannot confirm that they actually changed the plugs.

Hi guys,

Any of u have problem to engage into gear during high rev.

Happen to me when 1st to 2nd and last night think should be 2 to 3 or 3 to 4. Seldom have this problem. Is it the clutch worn out or something else.

hi amen23,

from ur description;

1) it could be the factor of poorer quality lubrication oil, chances is slim but worth the try to change to better quality engine oil.

2) or the plm with the 'clutch release cylinder', this component is just outside ur clutch housing. inside it has a piston seal tends to wear/tear faster then usual if the bike is under-used. the defects of the leaking piston seal will cause u to have gear engaging/disengaging plm.

to rectify plm no.2, just change the piston seal which will cost less than Sgd40(inclusive labor). the entire 'clutch release cylinder component' cost about Sgd80.

dont worry about the clutch plates, ur mileage is too low to decide it has been worn.

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

where do you go when you are looking for higher windscreens or windscreen "deflectors" that are attached to the top of some ST's windscreens?

i've heard of this windscreen edging with the brand "saeng".

seems well recommended by US riders.

Can it be found here?

Basically, is there a good accessory shop for honda sport tourers here?

Be sure, not slow.

Hi there, i am using the MRA windshield... One thing i should say is that the windshield will block you view as its is quite high upright... So when it rains it might not be very safe unless your body is long enuff to see over the top of the windshield.

Cheers

hi cbkooky,

it's unable to attach to original stock shield from the MRA.

saw a STs has a special fabicated transparent plastic nicely attached to top stock shield by only few drilled hole, very amazing idea the person has..

i've no chance to meet the owner to find out where it can be made to order. it's nicely heat bend & using good quality plastic should be polycarbonate, very good & creative idea they have.

anyone have this lobang mind to share it..

Has anybody tried any plastic cleaners that claim to reduce scratches, improve clarity of the plastic, etc?

Any recommendations?

Maybe you can try to use chamois .... Using it to clean off the water... Uses my hand and water to clean off dirt on my visor
