Just Griping!

Last night at about 0020hrs - I was on the way back from a Fuel Run to JB..coming back along BKE towards PIE when an idiotic driver swung in from Lane 2 (I was in Lane 3 and a truck was on lane 4) and then jammed brake in order to swing into the Dairy Farm exit. It was a black colored Merc or BMW SJF****.

All I can say is "Bloody Idiot!!! Watch where you drive you moron!"

If not too badly hurt, can go over with 3M tape and decals designs.

When driver swung in from L2 to L3, and for goodness sake, u ought to response instinctively by the squeeze of throttle to swung out to L2 and overtake or slightly right side of L3 and steer clear. Once you steer clear liao, never look at moron anymore as claimed:cheeky: for yr safety sake. Hope that when he jammed brake, the truck behind him dun jammed so hard :)

Sorry if this has been asked before but how do you taller riders make yourself comfortable on the bike? I'm having a hard time. I'm 6' tall.

1) Stock windshield is too low. I've heard of MRA or something which is taller. Is that a good shield?

2) No idea if my seat is stock but it's sloping downwards and that's causing me to sit more on my lower pelvic bone rather than my butt. This makes longer rides, a pain the in butt (no pun intended). Is there a seat that would make me sit upright?

3) This is also because of the seat I guess.. My knees are touching the flat part of the fairing (facing upwards) when I'm riding. That's not a problem but if I ride over a pothole, my knees would slam into the fairing dislodging it from it's mount. (Fairing is dislodged but I'm sure if this continually happens, my knee would get dislodged as well)

4) Handlebars are too narrow and low. Any aftermarket handlebar that would increase the width about an inch on either side, raise the bars up and back about 2-3"? My shoulders are broader then the handlebars by the way.

Bike has never failed me but I don't feel comfortable on it. Not sure if I should renew it's COE in November or sell it and buy a bike that fits me.

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

this are rider foot extension for st1100 n st1300. also for the seat u might want to get a local shop to add more sponge infront so u wont be sliding forward. Handlebar risers u need to google and check, trying logging in http://www.st-owners.com/

u probably can get answers there. The group is a friendly bunch of ppl. :)
