13, silver Gonna call up boon siew later and see how. aiya.

Updated: Well i just called, it'll cost me 135 W/o labour and they have no stock! it'll take 5 weeks! oh man! any other alternatives? maybe cheaper and faster? sheesh!

Fjtee are selling for 145, but without installation. And they say the plastic is separate from the signal. so 145 is the combined price.

ever success selling for 185(!)

Was the cover secured by a tie-wire or strap ? If not you should do it to the other side first. And when the replacement one comes in, do the same

If you are looking at options and cost sensitive, try google it. There are some deals out there. Depending on where it is coming from, it could be within 2 weeks. Alternatively consider ebay

Jemmo,

Sorry to hear about the cover and the signal assembly. But I believe the cover should have some form of cable tie band attached to the panel so that even in case it come off it would be dangling. Worst at least from the signal cable... You tried ebay.UK?I have seen some online prices but i thnk the price would not be far off from what FJT quote you after shipping over.

Just in case you plan to buy online.Hope these helps, the part no:

Description - Cover L Mirror NH478M (Tower Silver Metallic)

Part No- 88121-MCS-G00ZB

Part No - 33450 -MCS-A01

Wow thanks! but yes i think i'll head to FJT maybe tomorrow when i'm free. The cable tie is still there, and so is the wire for the signal. Don't know why it flew off. Dang. Maybe i'll try to attach it myself but i'm not sure if one of the holes on the fairing is missing a ring. Hmm hard to explain what i mean, i'll try and post a pic when i'm free.

Thanks again, will update when i've pieced it up.

Here is what it looks like after the cover and signal flew off. The remnants of the cable tie are still there. There are 3 holes that the cover "attaches" into, the 2 circled in green have a metal ring around the hole. I think to keep it tight, the one circled in red doesn't. Not sure if it's meant to be that way, if it flew off with the cover of it was a weak link and the cause of it flying off.

I haven't seen the right side to check if it's the same on that side, maybe tmr. Also i think i'll head down to FJT tmr to get the parts i need and try to install them myself. Hopefully i know what i'm doing hahah.

Remove and replacing is easy as it is meant to be that way when the wings hit anything. You can pull outwards the left one to see if the clips are the same. Mine is old bike, so it is rubber rather than metal clips.

I dont see a similar cable tie on the pic. Is it the black one ? Mine is a fine one that is similar to a thick fishing line type..

Oh okok i'll head down and get it today and take a look. Yea the black one is what's left of the cable tie.

*updated, yay it's fixed! i opened the other side and checked, yea it's the same on that side. hopefully this won't happen again!

Hi all I m new guy in town with a mid-night ST 1100 PE

Need to learn more thing's of ST1100 from you guys hope to get more info on this bike

Cheers Lionel

hey bro,

which model is your ST1100? you can find it by removing your seats and look on the chassic normally ends with e.g: ST1100Y.w.

what to look out for:

1st : check on both tire for friction or else FC drops.

2nd:rear wheel rubber seal ( should this loose may result in Shaft problem,FC drop, pick up bitting point too far.

3rd:change shaft oil every 12months

4th:get yourself a Hazard Light switch( can look me up should you need one )

5th:try to monitor your FC per tanker

6th: make sure both exhaust are secured properly ( Bolt and nut )

7th:always standby a bottle of ( tire foam ) for tubeless tires.in case breakdown this may come handy and helpful.pushing this beast isn't that easy

8th: upgrade thermostat for instant cooling down of engine

9th:steering cone

10th: front and rear wheel bearing

11:if you need HID with 4300K H4 headlight let me know.

Hi guys I need some help from you

This EBC brake pad works well with ST11 ?

Hmmm or what kind of brake pad work the best for ST11 ?

M currently using EBC brake pads and find it nt bad... Another brank i tried is brake-king. No joke, its really called brake king. Quite good. Price range around the same also. EBC, sometimes more brake dust.. But i prefer the pad gets worn off rather then my disc...

I miss my Spec II...

about this beast. i dont really test "her" patience by pushing it to the Max. tested 225km/h and felt very uneasy with it.as this Beast is meant for Tour speed from 120km/h to 160km/h .

try not to push "her" so hard LOL. if not when she "bleed" you got problem liao.it is hard to get a " Tampon" up north

as for HID 4.3K is as stock as OEM.inspection officer passed wthout asking cause it is hard to spot
