Maclife,

So hows the wind draft wth and without the deflectors? Btw, are those tapes strong enough? neatly done.nice.:thumb:

I wasnt that comfortable with the tapes that they have on already as they were only placed on the rim edges of the deflectors. So decided to be Kia Su and added "tons"more to increase adhesive contact with the fairing. Only challenge is fighting with the stickiness during alignment. I have also tried to add silicon on the mirror deflectors inside but with this effort, it implies that if you choose to remove them later, for whatever reason, it will be a pretty messed up fairing surface with a mixture of left-over stain of 2 sided tapes and silicon residue.

There will be 1 or 2 areas, especially at the bends of the deflector that do not gain contact with the fairing (in my case). I will need to see how to secure them with silicon at a later stage. Overall - not too bad

cool. Can consider 3M clear mounting tape #4010 for future projects.Leave no stains when removed. abit pricey at $7.9 a pack. Maybe need 2 pk for similar setup.

roughly how much ST13 price OTR? Which shop offers the best loan after down 5K? THanks :thumb:

There are 2 oxygen sensors, each towards the exhuast system if I am not mistaken. When it malfunction, i will get very low rpm and lost of power.

How much would it be if you want to replace a new Oxygen sensor?

PC III can use to replace the function of Oxygen Sensor?

Thanks.

I took the workshop's word for it without checking. It was quoted as 180/pc. Not sure if it included labour. PC III uses a by-pass plug to close the loop at the oxygen sensor end, and allowing PCIII module to manage it electronically.

Hard to imagine what is Honda going to do with the next ST except to

deal with Pan wobbles.

It takes one good skills to manage wobbles :cheeky:

This one definitely a self created wobble:thumb:

I just bought a 08 ST1300 with 30000km.

I found it could be a bit difficult to start the bike in the morning.

When i start the bike, the rpm is very low at about 500rpm the

within 15 seconds the bike the engine will be off.

I have to twist the throttle a little bit to up the rpm to 1000 in order to warm up the bike,

and after it's warm up, it has to ride a little about a minute then the bike will work properly.

I wonder is there anything wrong with the bike or just the idle

setting too low?

Thank you.

Have you send to a workshop to check ? For my year (2003), there is an auto choke that kicks in at start up.

its the infamous autochoke among st13. Unlikely its the bike problem. Maybe check your plugs and try using different petrol. I used to exp similar to this and somehow this "problem" is gone..

I went to looi's today, and they up the idle a bit to 1100 to 1200rpm.

Hope this will work. By the way, if autochoke got problem, how much

does it cost to replace it?

thanks.

Bro,

Don't waste money. You change the auto choke, It will come back again.
