Hi guys,

I just got a 2000 ST1100 with about 77k km last Wednesday. The previous owner had done the major servicing with Gopa in Aug 2012 and did a oil change, spark plugs change and oil filter change before passing it to me...I took the bike for a ride to KL over the weekend and rode back to Singapore in heavy downpour. Bike was great.. almost faultless....

But last the two days I have noticed a clicking sound everytime I move off from a stationary position.... its loud enough for me to hear even with a full face helmet on.. any idea where this sound is coming from and why?? Bike is running great and smooth...

Thank you...

Hi bros, anyone interested to share a Bikemaster TruGel battery purchase with me? Battery costs USD119 each. Shipping for 1 piece is USD61 and 2 pieces its USD89. So I was wondering if anyone interested to share so that can save like USD15. just need 1 more buyer. This battery contains gel instead of liquid, so it lasts longer. Harley bikes only can use this battery due to vibrations. Our bike doesn't need this but I just wanted to try. :)

Problem solved. The sound was from a loose exhaust nut. Luckily managed to source out the problem heading to a mechanic who would have chopped me with some other solution... :cheeky:

Hi all! New ST13 owner here. Other than SBF 'Honda ST1100' and 'Honda ST1300' threads, which forums do you guys usually have your discussions as well?

For a start, may I know where can I purchase front fender extension and headlamp protector? Any lobang for the original top box and price?

Where do you guys usually source for accessories? Thanks!

Sky, you can check Motoworld for headlight protector. Original box is nice but not worth the price. Each to its own though. Depends on what you want to get. On-line or local also have.

Hi all riders!!

By any chance if any of you guys are looking into getting good quality GOREtex jackets/raincoat. Please give my product a consideration too.

link : http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/370050-lt-CMO-gt-SALES-OF-GORETEX-APPARRELS-JACKETS-*Not-Common-Brands*

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate. Mutiple air ventilation zippers on the jacket too for riding during the day to protect from sun. More info please refer to thread or contact us! Thanks and ride safe! Cheers!~~

Hi All

For mounting of hepco & becker topbox to ST11, would the H&B Universal Alurack b sufficient or need another baseplate or bushing?

Anyone of you have any to let go be it the universal alurack or the specific rack for ST11 by H&B or any customized rack?

Thanks a lot

Posted

For H&B topbox, you only need the universal rack. And is directly mount on to the pillion hand grip. 2 years back I checked with m-technic is $180 for the rack. Currently 1 of my friend bought a H&B topbox of 55L costing $350.

Hello guys, do check out my ST1100 mods via this link aites. Enjoy ; )

Cool video bro. A lot of hardwork and ideas gone into the project as can be seen. Will this street fighter have any issues at LTA inspection?

Hi all,

Just took over ST11 from direct seller. Currently encounter clutch issue, whereby the biting point seems to be get nearer to the grips. This happen when I clutch in, waiting for traffic to turn green or even gliding while manouvering between cars. At that point, to get engage, it just a small movement to my grips. Biting point gets back to normal position after a full release of the clutch lever.

What I understand is the clutch plates and housing have been replaced earlier this year. I went to workshop but they did bleeding. It does not help.

Anyone encounter same problem, and possible to share what is the remedial? So far, engine died on me 2 times and to get it start, i end up hogging the road (engage to nuetral, start engine, engage and go..) :(

Thanks,

Jup
