I think the price of the 2 piece MRA Windshield is about $280 for brand new.

Remember to make a new no plate if you buying else your skill of peeling out the no plate sticker from the original windshield must be very good.

if i din remember wrongly, my mechanic at AMK autopoint (uncle gopa ) has a spare backrest to sell. he used it for awhile for our recent trip up phuket, then removed it to fit up a "one-and-only" top box (heard it's like, a stock honda ST11 top box even boon siew doesn't have it. heard the previous owner ordered on the internet from the US just imagine a flatter version of the common GIVI top boxes )

 

looks like we have a flamer on board in the shape of HMAX

 

if i can get cheaper insurance premiums here, maybe i'll need a quote when it's gonna due... currently riding a 95 US model ST, age 29 years old existing insurance is TPFT from NTUC at S$525.

Hi me have another question.Hope anyone can clear my doubts. I have ben riding for about 9yrs. Most of the time i have receive the NCD form traffic.Last year i was summon for a traffic offence.already settled.

MY question is??

 

1)

SO DO i still receive the NCD this year??

My insurance is expiring on 23 April 04. How long before will i be receiving it..I have no claims on insurance /or accidents ,so far so good. Any contact for me to check if on whether im eligible for NCD??

 

2)

2nd , my rd tax expires on 29 march 04.I belief you have to renew the insurance first then rd tax right, cos ur rd tax can only be renewed onnce the insurance cover the rd tax duration???

 

3)

And btw..trust me really gettn absurd prices from shop....Im not sure this time round i can renew myself cos theres a chop on my insurance that says "THE bike is under hire purchase with D*****G Motor Pte Ltd.No addrider or renewal is allowed." CAN I STILL RENEW MYSELF bypass the shop...?

thnk got the ans liao..i will just do an extension for my machine for another 1/2year to coincide with my rd tax.I tbe half the price arnd there that way....

hi there, anybody looking for a st11-backrest... I have one from my former bike used only about 3mths removed it add monokey box and forget about it until I found it in my store room I'll let it go for $100.I bought it for about $300+ still in good condition... now I have already down grade my bike to Div XJ9 because of back problem...any st's wants it....

ST is a beautifull bike polish it takecare of it will last...

 

about ins you not neccessary to buy from the same shop you can get else where if can get a good deal call around you can cut the middleman. shops normaly charge slightly higher because of the commission they earn and for your conveience.when you buy outside don't forget to bring along the ins paper and a copy of the log card...

...You never say what kind of offence, it depends...I hope as long as no claim or complain there should be No Problem...

used to have a backrest.....cushion and bag in immamculate condition...with Chrome parts....After i realise my daily luggaege are not enough to be contain it

the panniers, i decided to refurbish my old monokey and have it fixed up..

Hi Kobane, I also go to Gopa frequently and I know he got a Maroon original honda top box for ST11 that can self adjust during cornering. But he said the back rest no more liao.

 

Therefore, silverghost please sell if the me please

Niterider929, really not advisable to change your tires to low profile type as its very dangerous. It better to use the normal type of tyres for ST like MEZ4 or Stock tyre. I am personally using the Prerilli Dragon and its superb.

Although my steering cone spoil liao but still can free hand and ride for around 5 seconds on straight road.

Was using a 020 and my bike was saying no no no no no to free hand as it vibrates vigourously once i let go for 1 sec.

 

Got people use the dragon for track use with ST. I personally saw the tyres before. Theres another guy riding this dark green ST. Kup corner till buah the 2 pieces of plastic at the side. Very skillful

 

For safety. dun compromise on tyre and brakes quality.

To me if jus price wise looks oklar..but mus noe how many owner and condition of machine.Cos for me i paid abt $15K but of cos some trade offs lar/Expensive but machine was well taken care off and accdnt free etc....blbalbla...IF cheap but gif you plenty of problm later on also *sigh*. Mayb you can try scout arnd looking for same model /year and compare prices.

 

Remember, if you thnk you are going to be carrot or feel its too good to be true, JUS WALK OUT of the shop... We have the right to choose our $$$ go to where... Gd luck!

that price is a bit high for FR plate...

coz I get FS from them at 12.5k...

and I don't think there is any orginal silver ST correct me if i am wrong

try and look around in other shop...

FYI some1 is selling ST in the forum FV plate....
