Dear all, a heads up to fellow riders...

Ard 6.30pm a silver Extol minivan (i think u could call it that) sped through

the red light from woodlands centre road. He was trying to turn right into woodlands ave 3 heading towards the BKE, very likely.

Due to his reckless driving, he was almost crashed into by a trailer and almost run down a fellow rider. The brother was riding a Suzuki 600cc sportsbike. Luckily the idiot driver managed to avoid the rider but proceeded straight ahead into Woodlands Ave 1 instead of stopping. He drove against the traffic on Woodlands Ave 1 and squeezed onto the proper lane at the traffic fronting blk 304.

I was two cars behind the fallen rider when it happened at the junction.

I tried to chase after the Extol but lost him at the traffic light on woodlands ave 1 where he again sped thru another red light down Woodlands Avenue 1.

Very likely he was trying to get onto the BKE ahead.

Decided to return back to the junction to see if the rider needed any assistance or information. However he had left the scene. Fortunately, i hope and believed that he was not injured or his bike damaged.

Not sure if the rider is on this forums or whether this thread is of any validity but just thot i let fellow riders know to keep a lookout for the Extol minivan.

Ride safe you all and lets rid our roads of these type of reckless and unrepentant road users.

Fyi, the Extol bears the plate SFK1774B (hope its ok to post the number here)

Take care ya'll...:thumb:

Will TS please write down the experience and send it into Traffic Police headquarters? It will help if the rider will want to sue the driver if you can identify yourself as witness.

yeah u should do that

sis, my personal experience is, i send an online report to TP cos earlier some male middle age man decide to neg a bend while driving on 2 lanes with me in 1... Our "friendly" patrol car came in approx 15mins while the man kept cursing & saying that he not at fault, blah blah, blah & need to rush home which i replied, "not my problem"

Then report was made & followed by online report which up to date there is no news. 2 email was sent but still no news.

Feels like nothing will be done if nothing happens. Like make sure there is contact before police steps in. Disappointing...

sorry guys...louis is right, i made a typo error.

was in a rush that day...vehicle should be SFK 1744 B.:cheeky:

chuan.z is also right...this number plate have quite a number of summons against it...hmmm...what if louis is also right that this vehicle belongs to a rental company hence many different common ppl use it therefore they drive with less care?

viciouskitty74, thot of doing that but wanted to find out if the fallen rider is amongst these forums first...

chubb, that SJR9219P cut lanes twice without signalling...some more the first one at higher speed right at the traffic junction...sheesh!

yah, bernard what device u use for recording? solid video at that speed sia...
