Yea... It's not too bad except that you may need to get quite use to the "harder" feeling when compared to the pure rubber grips. Best if you use gloves, especially for long journeys as you may get painful palms after a long ride. But I guess it all just gets some getting used to.

As for me, not attending bax..Gf dun like this kind of tiux and Sat is reserve for her unless she got other plans(Not this Sat thou)...

Erms pardon me but the POP brand he mention for the racing footrest isit Yoshimura racing pop foot rest( -_- the chiong type i saw)? IF are those, i rather he buy some better brands.

 

its pop domino.. i dun tink its yoshi.. haahaa

n pop domino quite good for me..

its adjustable.. n quite durable..

a few of us used the same footrest also, n no problems..

 

better brands = tyga non-adjustable @ 350-380..

i dunno if there are others...

No not that nelson. Another nelson that still rides an RVF.

It's not about durability when it comes to rearsets..

 

It's about in an event of a low side, would the pegs be broken off immediately from the impact..You wont want something so durable that after lowsiding, the pegs is still on which result in a crack screwhole on the mainframe for the rearset to be attached on.

 

As lousy as it sounds, but this was a point which was given to me by a gd fren of mine when i enquired about branded and non brand rearsets..

 

Thus now you know why stock rearsets has the springs attach to it..
