Any of u guys done valve clearence at HL before? How long will they take to do it? The thing is, since the first day i got my bike, there has been a rattling sound in the engine department. At first thought it was normal but when i campare the sound to another TDM, it sure is different. Informed HL about the issue liao during my second oil change but until now, have yet to find a slot to send my bike for repair. Anyway, they already assured me that they will repair it for free if the sound gets louder.

wah piangs...your bike brand new leh....how can it be sure to be valve problem?who knows there's a dead rat in your engine since it was left at loois for 4yrs before you bought it?:cheeky: i think you need to repair yourself leh...you must have been watching that bootielicious siggy of yours to much...

Mine just reach 50k KMs and still going strong...

Ok guys...questions...would battery lifespan expiring cause a performance drop?

Ok,here's the thing...lately my bike is like go no go situation....performance has been slacking in term of pulling the throttle full bore or just regular pick up...but i just did a change of Battery today just hours ago,and bike feels like its new...ok....abit exaggeration....but yeah...its sure has a different feel...

changed to yuasa battery cost $105 plus labour...

care to enlighten me James?

I am not suprise,Battery for EFI is very important as most of our bike parts(ECU,EFI,Etc) depend on it.Its unlike carbs bikes.

Tats why we invest in volt meter(to monitor voltage) and Volt Stabiliser and grounding(To smoothen the currents)

But a normal dry cell battery can last maybe 2 yrs and the OEM Gel battery up to 4 yrs.Heard from the cape-forum that some of them can last 5-8yrs.Hmmm....

Yo dude, get the OEM sprockets at AutoM. Its lasting and cheaper. Even i was amazed by the cost. I think about less than $70 for front and back. As for the chain, u can get it at Ah Boy. I bought the X-ring Gold DID chain or u can get the RK chain. U can give the mechs kopi money to change ur sprockets for u also.. tats wat AJ did i heard...

brakepads i m using goldfren...sbs out of stock...rear 25bux,front for both $55...

Metz very X leh....kns...

SBS indeed is cheap & good, aaa...... but bro james i hv used itis brand for many many years on all my pervious ride, it wouldn,t 'eat-up' the disc rotor. try HKL at bukit merah (opposite Queesway shopping).

VeeTwin Power after u rode a twin... u never want a straight four!!!

Hmm...diff pple, diff taste. But when you use SBS u will see the "lines" on the rotors getting worse, soon will get uneven discs and that are alot brake dust too.Try it on alot bikes, same result.

But if my pocket deep enough,i will use back original brake pads.
