That was a good and convincing read AJ! If anyone got the latest price from Hong leong do post. The last time i spoke to Hong leong i was quoted 19K OTR. :cry:

I'm the previous owner of nuyke's tdm. The mainstand is original yamaha accessory. Well designed..easy to put it on. I threw the H&B mainstand back to the agent coz its so difficult to put on. Dun save the $$$ on an aftermarket mainstand. It was worth the $$$ buying the original stand. Almost broke my back using the H&B one. The yamaha one is world's apart. Check nuyke's mainstand strap I improvised to make lifting the tdm on mainstand easier.

 

So far I only know 3 owners who sold their TDM including myself, all of us are driving now. Change in priorities. TDM is a good bike. No regrets.

The improvised mainstand strap i already taken out since i bought the bike from barra. To me the strap was quite an eye sore but good "invention" for small built guys. :thumb:

i believed its all down to technic on how you lift the bike to mainstand...i haven't got a problem at all since day one...only putting down the bike from mainstand on day 1 almost drop the bike the other way...so now i sat on the bike 1st before unloading...

 

You have to straighten your body and dont slouch while lifting the bike...put 80% force on the kicklever of the mainstand...15% on your right hand gripping the handle of your sideracks or rear rack...

 

another 5 % is to hold the handlebar...

Yo guys... me and my friend planning tis 1 june going so called riding near coastal route... Jus a day event... Meeting at 10am my place at punggol...

They be operational only by Mid july, now still beside mustafa center.
