The new Yamaha Gendarmerie

 

President Cristina Kirchner delivered today to the National Gendarmerie a batch of 340 bikes will patrol for safety routes.. It is not any kind of bike, but the new Yamaha TDM900, which have a retail price of $ 16,100 per unit and are offered with optional ABS braking system.

 

The bikes will be part of the security operation that will accompany the Dakar Rally for much of the Argentine territory from next Saturday. Also on show in the paths to the main resorts, making speed checks.

 

The TDM900 series has an engine water-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke with 86 horsepower. Chain of transmission has six speeds, fuel tank 20 liters and an unladen weight of 192 kilos.

 

The manufacturer describes it as a bike "for those who enjoy the unique pleasure of discovering new places" and considered "versatile and fun will take you to any destination, this is long, with style and comfort.
