Yo Guys, Nxt month Our Good Friend Hafiz is getting married and i'm

planning to get the guys for the TDM convoy.

 

Itinerary for Hafiz wedding (14 March 2010)

 

11am - Meetup at his place and have "brunch" b4 moving off

(Tampines Blk 113)

 

12.30pm - Move off from his place

 

1pm - Reach his Wifey place (Simei Rd Blk 163)

 

1 to 2pm - Makan Lunch and Photo taking session (Chill and Hang around)

 

2pm - Move off from Wifey Place to go to his place

 

2.30pm onwards - Reach his place and have lunch and photo taking... after that OTOT - Own time Own target

 

Anyways i was informed that later Hafiz will pass u guys his wedding invitation cards.

 

Pls put down your names if u are coming... :thumb:

# Item Symptom

19 Sidestand switch (open circuit wire to ECU)

Open circuit is detected in the input line from the sidestand switch to the ECU

 

Fail-Safe Action

NO START

 

Correct! The badass Mr.19. My case is the worst, Bypass the side stand switch, 19 still on, try to replace relay switch, 19 still on. Change new CDI, everything looks fine. :faint:

 

Now my bike also have the sympton of "fail to start". Switch on/off the key, also "fail to start". But 19 did not appear this time round. Spray WD40 into the key hole, everything looks all right again.:sian:

 

If u have the 19 sympton, what you can do is:

1) Try to replace the side stand switch or try to bypass the side stand switch. Or

2) Get your mec to check on the wiring. Or

3) Change the CDI like what i did (Hope this is not needed). Or

4) Send ur bike to hong leong and ask them to check (What I will do next)

Things making more sense now.......interesting notes follow:

 

1. On diag mode 20, turn ignition switch a little to the left and "on" (sidestand up) becomes "off" (sidestand down) - even though the sidestand is down (see next point).

2. On my bike at least, diag 20 reports the position of the sidestand only if it is in gear. With the bike in gear, sidestand up = "on" and sidestand down = "off". With the bike in neutral, diag 20 = "on" allways.

3. Diag 21 reports bike in / out of gear as expected

 

So, looks like I suffered from not turning the key fully clockwise - problem solved. Little niggle however that diag 20 whilst being understandable isn't quite as per the manual .......

This friday nite, Hafiz wanna give the "summon" to the TDM guys at Kim Keat Kopitiam @ 9pm.

Can i also request to u guys that taken pictures on my wedding day, can pls bring the unedited pictures in a thumbdrive so that i can copy it... I will bring my laptop. :thumb:

crapy location ard $1++ per sq foot..... no including electrical & water bills...

newly muti storey type..... rental ard $2-3k per mth..... smailler one ard $1.5k
