SK's price rubber band one. I think also depends on what kind of rack design?

 

original price is about 200 EUR... how could it be 300 unless they give super discount to you.

 

SK price seems depends on whether they like you or not... :cheeky:

wHAT Top box mounting plate is he using? I'm planning to mount a GiviMonokey box and ideally the yamaha rack looks best...the lines are parallel, if i mount SWmotech plate on the tdm900 rear handles and mount the monokey on it. look like 3pancakes stacked together..

 

anyone one know Where to get this rack, i didn't notice it on any of yr tdms at cafe luv that night

Dont waste your mola on other racks if you mounting Givi since there is Givi baseplate which are made for the boxes for easy removal. The issue is how to secure the baseplate with the original TDM rear handle. If u getting Hepco topbox, then get Hepco rack, if getting Trax topbox, get SW rack, if getting Givi topbox, get Givi rack. Thats what i think.

 

I mounted my SW Motech baseplate similarly to the one you attached (causewayyamaha.com) which 2 screws attaching the baseplate to the stock holes where the rear handles was secured with another screw at the baseplate to a metal bracket underneath the rearhandle. Feels very secured and no rattling, no swaying. If Friday meet up is firm maybe i can show you.

 

Someone is selling H&B explorer topbox at $450 and anotehr guy selling H&B universal baseplate for $180. Can consider.... Or u wana 'eat' my Trax? I go buy the H&B.... Hahahaha

Got a SW Motech Bag Connection Quick-lock Tankbag together with the purchase of the bike. And I doubt I'll use it anytime soon (or ever at all) since I uses my bike for transit to/fro work and hardly will go touring. Hence will be selling it away.

 

Condition is super duper good-as-new.... I think fatmonk only used it like couple times (in singapore?). RRP should be around $270 - 300. Selling $200.

 

Comes with the tank-bag, petrol cap adaptor, wind cover, carrier and manual. :thumb:
