Hi AJ, saw u zoomed past SB on thurs. Ur pipes sounded great. Can't wait to c and hear them. Me too itching for a ride. But stuck in s'pore due to commitments...:( Anybody keen for a two day one night ride to KL??

onz la..it would be better if more TDM's will join...but shud be after next week...coz i m getting engage on mon...and tyres will be change next week..

 

the pipes so shiok....but i thk i need to do sme tuning n change K&N filter...i wanna try send to motoworld see if they can send my bike for inspection...maybe mus pay sme paperwerk money..besides,the pipes already got serial no and Hodaka tag with serial no...supposedly already street legal wen its on the Ducati...will update the picture of the pipes in a few days....btw,i high mounted the pipes...stunning...

Hey AJ...this thread is useless without pics!!! Come on man! Show us ur ducati style TDM. Did you remove ur wing rack to make space for the hi mount? I'm considering hi mount for my GPR exhaust but not willing to sacrifice my H&B side panniers or modify them. Or should I just stick to the original low mount look just to be on the safe side?

wait lah bro...my camera with gf..tomoro will upload ok..btw its not so high mounted lah....its more like the devil exhaust or remus....and best,its not so bloody hot to burn ur legs...yeah...

but very sad leh....went to motoworld to ask them help me if they can send my bike for inspection.,...they say NO....its modded....:cry: :cry:

and tyres for battlax ard $350 but no stock for front..mus wait 2-3weeks....sigh...

a little back fire...think need more airflow...k&n filter selling at $105...will be getting it on tues maybe...but still,dunno whr can really do reasonable tuning...i thk i mite be doin diffuser as wel coz the sound a bit too loud wen close trottle and wen open too much...

From the pic's angle, it looks like the swingarm/brake calipers might hit the pipes. Enough clearance?

rattlesnake, just go and order the eagle screen from yappiez. Especially if you want something higher than the givi. AJ using givi right?

 

tdmwinger, the hi mount should be the same price as low mount. But the shop advised me not to get the hi mount coz the airflow is different with the additional mid pipe that bends upwards. Says need more 'work' to tune etc.... Low mount is better and easier for them. Here's the quote for GPR. Inox is their term for stainless steel alloy. Price includes workmanship to fix. Inspection not included. All street legal.

 

Inox Round - 980

Titanium Round - 1116

Inox Oval - 1114

Titanuim Oval - 1212
