It's a cycle... Old bird never leave new bird never comes in...

haha.. thats very true for this bike.. its like a bike that is recycled over and over with different owners.. lol..

getting old.. have kids... mid life crisis.. withdrawal syndrome... couch potato..

PS3, Xbox, KTV, drinking and partying... all sorts of reasons..

  :faint: :faint:

Hahahaa..... Actually there had been ppl wanting to sell for a long long time.... but some decided to keep, while some managed to sell and that's how new ones like you and me joined in the big family. But the TDM spirit goes on and we see ppl like Joeboxer, Alvin (VTRfirestorm) and sometimes the one with black plastic specs coming in once in awhile.

yea.. thats true.. such a waste there are no more new productions here in singapore..

Nothing goes too fast, only out of control

i'd prefer this way.. our bike value will hold stronger, less depreciation.

take a look at AfricaTwin.. 10 years old.. no more production, but people are paying good $$ for it..

No worry... It's a good deal cos its free shipping, can save abt S$35... Another source from eBay, same items, inclusive shipping is ard S$125...

For me, buying from oversea must be cheaper or else get from local distributor is a better idea...

Apart from the longer waiting time before the item arrive...

U asking where to buy the handlebar or the risers? Victor & I are using AT bars with risers. But of course his is ROX risers and me cheapo using duno simi brand risers.

Why not get other kind of handlebars like Rental or Pro-Taper?

If you're looking for AT bar can get fr Honda Authorise Dealer... Price is $65... Fit with standard clamp...

I've come from AT Bar to Pro-Taper FATBAR... Love the sturdiness, wide angle, scrambler alike feeling...

But have to add on handle bar clamp adapter to secure the FATBAR...

Try the feel first before investing into one, some might not like the feel of wide angle bar...

haha.. i asking where to get the handlebar.. cos i looking for a change of the stock one without the need of spending more to get risers.. if i get renthal or pro taper, i would need to spend on risers.. haha..

for me i personally love the feel of a scram handlebar so no problems for me on that part.. and it beats the feeling i get on the stock bars.. hahah..

so ure saying the AT bars can fit sweetly on our tdm? it wont get in the way of the windshield or stretch the cables out? no cons whatsoever?

If i am not wrong, AT bars no need risers per se although most of us who are on AT bars have risers. It's still wider than stock TDM's and you have to find the sweet spot position so the bars has enough clearance for the tank and windscreen (esp if u have aftermarket ones). With risers the cables will be stretched to the max but still functional. I adjusted mine previously when the bar was dismantled to access the ignition console and now its not at it's optimal position and there's a fair bit of freeplay on the throttle now.

The AT bar fits. You can see diameter of the bar from these photos. Hope this helps you envision it.

Lane splitting with AT bar is also np. Bar risers good, especially when you get older, its more ergonomical on your already stress fireman back.
