Mine was set ard +5... If set to +2, as good as don't put = no oil at all...

Actually I think it's also what oil u using. I was using engine oil (leftover from servicing) and it was spitting all over my bike. Think it was on +4 or +5. Then I also tried 'sewing machine oil) and turned to +2 or +3. Also spit. Hahahaha!!

but will leak leh broter...i set to 2 first so far no leak now.

hahaha nowadays alot of double burgers...forum glich

That explain why you only set to +2, cos you using engine oil. I'm using scottoiler original oil, their viscosity is different from engine oil. Much more thicker.

U got $$$ mah. Poor riders like us can only afford using leftover engine oil, 2T lubricants, sewing machine oil... I'm thinking of going to my neighbourhood kopi shop collect used cooking oil too.

Bro,

what system are you using for your scottoiler? "electronic" or "vacuum" system?

I think most of us are on vacuum. And honestly I didn't know there's an electronic one for scottoiler! :p

You can adjust, i'm using the original vacuum type, so using gravity and the bike air duct, creates a suction + some natural gravity to push the scottoiler oil down the drip tubes to drip on yr chain. The adjusting dial is on yr SO reservoir(that bottlething), its a flap at the top where the tube connects.

Heaven i'm using scottoiler oil, only paikia use cooking oil, he no money wan...

Hi to all,

What do you all mean by adjusting the scottoiler to +2, +4, +5? Care to share what you guys mean?

I am using vacuum system and I usually adjust according to drip per min.

you can turn the top part of scott oiler to adjust the flow, there's min -> max and a few numbers.

Sorry Bro I'm using the "Vacuum" too poor to afford the "Electronic" one... Further to that I don't want to feed to ghost loitering around my area, fix today gone tomorrow... Unless you got place to hide the electronic control panel/switch. If you hide it then why spend that kind of $$$...

That is good enough... adjust according to drip per min... U actually time it ? For me I only AGAR AGAR...

The flow depend on a few factors...

1. The vacuum suction "power" of the engine... the more power it is the more power suction it creates...

2. Idling speed... Same as above...

3. The tube route... the more twist and turn you have, the more resistance you create...

4. Lastly, the type of oil you use...

Knife brand one ok.... Expensive one!!

Bro change to Extra Virgin Olive Oil, more smooth and more HEALTHY... LOL...

Just found out that I have a dent below at one of the piping. :(

It's normal, as TDM has low ground clearance, although it is being classified as multi-user... This is most cause by going down a curb...
