First- I am not expert and just happened to learn a thing or two from the other riders.

 

H&B can get from MTechnik at Paya Ubi. Brackets are only for H&B just like Givi racks are for Givis and SW Motechs rack are for SW Motech cases.

 

H&B ain't cheap and racks are specific to each bike models although there are universal base rack for the topbox which can be mounted to existing rails.

 

As a gauge, H&B rear rack for top box is around $220 and side racks for panniers are around $320.

 

Topbox & panniers prices differs from different models.

Ah Mac... U newbie then I baru 2B liao.

 

Universal base plate is around $180?? Can't remember. But go for the TDM plate. It comes with two lower brackets to the bike frame and very stable.

 

I ordered from Chan in Oct but the stock only came in Jan but by then I got from encore before he traded in to the shop. The stock I ordered should still be at MTechnik.

Get ur bike first. Usually most adv bikes already come with topbox and some even panniers. And unless u have the extra cash, usually there's plenty of used ones available for sale.

Yes definitely.. I don't mind used.. but you know sometimes when you are in need of something it's just not available.. so I rather prepare myself in advance :-)

Welcome to e pack ! Our meets up are usually on ad hoc timings . Usually it's either Mr Kmax or Mr Paikia who will organize e meet ups . Where did u bought ur Tdm from ? Most of e Tdm owners were from our group n usually known to us . Which yr is ur Tdm ?

 

28th April some of them going for a day trip up nth . In sept , me n another 2 Tdms n 4 other bikes going up to Krabi . Ample time for u to make ur preparations .

haha.. i know they are distributor.. but dunno where is it.. hahah! i bought my clutch cable at $30.. haha.. the uncle refuse to budge even with all my charm.. haha!
