for valve clearance, i think only HL can do. better to let the expert service as their technicians are very familiar with yahama engines, and they have all the small parts including the O-rings. They change many O-rings and small parts which cost very little. Better than in the future, one O-ring leak and you spend a lot of $ and time to locate the fault.

Hi all. Anyone have lobang for bike locksmith. I lost my only set of key.

 

Three options to go about it. Also depend whether is it with or without immobilizer.

 

1st option :

 

Tow your bike to locksmith, near Regina (LAB), they will open up for you at $20 (last time)...

 

2nd option:

 

Buy a second hand lockset from ebay (full set inclusive of main lock, seat lock sets).

 

3rd option:

 

Buy a new set from HL...

 

Hope you can start your bike again,... Lesson learn = please duplicate your key !!!

Settled...thanks. Towed bike to locksmith located beside LAB. Total cost $90. 2 keys were duplicated.

Hello Everybody!!!

I am the proud new owner of a secondhand TDM 2008 ABS with 5000 Km. I am from Spain, Madrid. I love this bike but i have a small problem: my hands are small and I can´t take the left lever (clutch) with security because of this. The right one is adjustable but the left one no. I can´t find any adjustable levers for this model (under 100€) in internet, do you know a compatible model of yamaha that uses the same clutch lever so I could buy one or a complete adjustable set( clutch and brake)? (FJR 1300, FZS 600......Which year?
