Hi guys and girls (if any). I just got myself a 2007 TDM. I'm quite concerned with a ticking noise coming from the lower part of the engine. Wondering if there are any TDM experts in Singapore to diagnose and repair parallel twin engines... this being my first parallel twin, I've got no idea which mechanic is an expert at it. Thanks in advance!

It might be the tensioner that's making the sound. I own a 2008 model and had it changed this year when I did a service package with Hong Leong. Was told it's about time to change. The ticking sound is an indication. It will lead to engine problem is left to do more damage (& more $$).

The scorpions are legal? I think @kmax bike used to run on these but they were not lta approved although it's rated legal.

 

I don't know if Leo Vince still manufacture or the agent brings in for TDM. These are sweet and the sound is awesome. Remus ain't too bad but I personally don't like the hexacone shape.

Hmm... I asked about street legal pipes n thats what they replied. Heard LTA tightened the rules on pipes and many that were legal before no longer pass inspection now.

Did you managed to get the Scorpion Exhaust registered with LTA?

 

Also did anyone here manage to fit a DL650 hand guard on the TDM?

Still shopping for exhaust... dare not commit to the Scorpion yet... might just wait for someone to sell theirs

They look as they would be good protection when I drop my bike the next time.

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of these? I live in Stockholm Sweden.
