In-line-four too damn smooth, TWIN is one hell of an engine!

eg. of XR rider convert to AT then convert to TDM...me and simplybohchup...

 

Simply80chup is a friend of mine...he sold his AT,buy Fazer...then sold and ride his father X8...upon selling me his Sidecases,i let him have a spin on the TDM....the very next day,he went hunting for TDM....and now...after 1 mth of unsuccesfull bidding for 2nd hand TDM,he decided to buy a brand new TDM....

Twin all the way..

 

It gives bikes the characteristic that differentiate it from 4 wheelers.

 

I went from inline 4s to twins.. felt strange , it was a TDM9, couldn't get use.. so I swap back to inline4, fazer1.

 

Somehow I missed the twin characteristics.. so I tried v4s.. felt nicer than inlines.. still something is lacking until I found that I like twins the most.

 

Now my ass is back on a TDM.

like my buddy said... the way the majority ride their bikes, they might as well go get pink fazers.

 

 

how jungle worthy is the TDM? nothing amazonian…

The folks here are all TDM900 worshipers, im pretty hardcore rider on my TDM...... hardcore meaning to say i take quick corners, rev her up on highway........ pretty complacent abt how much she can deliver. Thot she carried only abt 90bhp, she sure hv an awesome power band.

 

I'm currently also a VTR rider, but i preferred the comfort & nimble handling of my TDM900.

 

Above all is jz my 2cents worth.

BTW bros, i have wanted to ask u guys tis question..... wat is ur speed on the speedometer when ur rpm reads 4,000?

 

I get 113km/h at 4,000rpm.

Just an invitation. See that u guys planning a short trip on 1st May, but if you guys are interested to join for a short ride to Ayer Hitam please feel free.

 

Going to visit (more like ride inside) Animal Institute (something like a farm) and also Gunung Belumut Waterfalls. After which drop by Ayer Hitam Night Market to shop some snacks before hitting the highway back. There will be other riders Varaderos big n small, Vstroms...

Bro, u wouldnt go wrong with TDM. Fazer is a gd bike no doubt. Rode one for a year and like every other bike i owned, appreciate every moment on it. Its difficult to compare the two. One is smooth and the other...whooaaAa. The're just different. Since u rode an AT before, y not just imagine urself on one but this time round, imagine its more nimble and responsive. Cornering with Xtra bit of confidence. Can even fetch at least 180km/h on the north south highways. Atleast thats what some qoute.

If this still doesnt convince u, than be nice to AJ. Maybe there a 5% chance he'll let u try his ride. :thumb:

good that keeps a quick pace on hway, also interested on how it handles in the dirt..

hope its not some tupperware thing with fields of plastic waiting to get broken.. can it pull in the dirt in the lower rpms? and make roosters?

bro...why would you really wanna take this kinda big trailie to dirt?and also do you thk we asians can really handle big trailie such as AT in dirt?we have dual sports bike or off-rds bike to do dirt anyway....

anyone can recommend a place where can get good deal on TDM?

 

HL asking for 18.2 otr... but not sure if they give accessories in the deal...

 

they offered me a silly yammie jacket n sliders (one or the other, not both) when i asked about the fizzer thou.

 

but didnt check about TDM.

 

Who's giving buckets of freebies? standard stuff..crash bars, box, tankbra, pillion babe..etc..etc..

i dun think there will be any freebies like such...maybe you would like to add 3K for original panniers(like those on FJR),touring screen and crashbar...:sweat:

I recently went to this Gunung berlumut....Hell of a track with cow's waste every where.Got to watch every move u make...must have some good skill else u will hit these mines... Heee....Heee...Heee :bouncefire:
