one of them told me its 13k otr at loois motor.

 

iskzer: top speed for the bike is abt 140km/h. saw quite a few vids on youtube. hahah

Insurance u gotta ask Loois to give u a quote. FC is an average 40-45km/litre. If you ride normally it can hit 50 no problem. (these figures are after running in of the engine.) and yea 2009 models there will be no more White/Red, Black/Silver, Yellow/Black model.

hm, age also does matter. there is a chart which agents will have i think, it shows the age range, cc, type of insurance and price. i happened to see it when i accompanied my friend to get his pulsar

insurance doesnt really go by age. it goes by ur riding experience.

 

different age groups belong to different risk categories, thus the price might differ. of cos, riding experience plays a part too.

ooo... interesting! one fine day, i shall come down to yamaha showroom and ask by myself to be sure then. hopefully, it is true! anyway, yeah... depends on insurance groups also. some focus on age while some focus on riding experience. but all i know is that all is added up including bike model, age of bike even whether you work indoor or outdoor. hahaha..

most probably it's from india, europe made r more expensive.

maybe originally assembled from india -> shipped to europe -> then to sillypore -> machine cost shoot up to $13k.

direct from india -> machine cost $8k.

hm, for a bike assembled in india, machine price 8k is still kinda pricey actually.
