anyone has this problem?

when flicking right signal, fuse blow?

 

am on OEM LED signal flashers, installed rear with resistor, front w/o.

hvnt have this problem from the day install until recently, while OTR, going to turn right, it suddleny just fuse blow, changed using 10A instead of 7.5A, but still blow.

Blown 4th fuse this morning.

 

my deduce is:

1) Horn -ve, that is end to the lower triple tree clamp, as when I press horn, the front LEDS will flicker lightly.

 

2) Front LEDS need resistor. BUT, when i put the resistors on, front right side didnt flicker when i press horn, but left side still flicker.

 

3) Somewhere connection got leakage, & as the bike's circuitry is abit tricky, there's a surge/leak when right signal activated.

 

The blow is not everytime, but all of a suddenly, when I need to signal right.

It will also affect the rear Tail light not lighted up, Brake light still function as its under another fuse...

 

Help.......

i will ride away, beat red light cam, go thru ERP ganrty, dump the bike on CTE

Yes & No. it depends on what you seek in the bike & the purpose of usage.

 

Yes !

1.It is shaft driven means no more scottoiler/chain spray/adjusment/broke chain,spocket etc.

2.It cost less then a GS ( apple vs apple on spec & fuel tank capacity).for the saving can kit up the S10 or save it for other use

3.It come standard with Traction control,selectable fuel map & ABS.( GSA ESA capability feature is not avail on Yamaha S10 yet ).

4.It a japs....so far no ABS module problem, TPMS issue(cos dun have as stock) & fuel pump relay or sensor issue fault code etc

 

NO !

1.Trade a German for Japs ?

2.To have good fuel consumpation as compare to now ( F800GS).S10 can do average 18km/L only and small tank of 23L means range are ard 250-350km(depend on right wrist)

3.It a heavy bike at 261kg as compare to 255kg for a GSA. Not for the feared....but my helmet got NO fear sticker...lolx

4.It ranked by cycleworld Jan2012 magz Adv class test for S10 to be a 50/50 bike that does on tamac & off road at 50% capability only.NOT the BEST off-road(KTM) or the BEST on-tamac(BMW GS).

 

there u have it....a "For" & "against" analysis...and last decision is up to individual perference....lol

No arrows had been fired at any living human but S10 can fix a Full system Arrow exhaust with great feedback.

This is much better imo. Uses the oem pannier brackets which is quite unnoticable with cases removed. Full face helmets can fit in each case. Still waiting for the mass production.
