it was roadkill-ed by a GSR!!

S10 is still the tradtional japs design...which is more involve in road feedback that also give u vib feel on handle bar.

Basically, am someone who change bike yearly (2nd hand tho). This time i feel like "investing" on a tourer for a longer term.

That's why i'm haunting this forum on a few bikes. Originally, the S10 looks ugly (saw it last year when shopping around for a bike). Ugly from the front. But recently, coz there's a new S10 white parked in car park, i keep on having 2nd looks.

 

GS seems way too extravagent so am considering either the Tiger 800 or? Maybe bros can share what about your S10 that you considered when you decide to choose it over other bikes like GS / Honda / FJR etc....

Ugly? Look at Hock pic, can fit water guns. With a few add-ons you sure can make it look pretty, not?

Indeed the S10 will not won the beauty contest in the adv class as it only been rated by cycleworld for the best bike for 50/50 road & off road usage as compare to the beauty GSA for road & true hardcore off road KTM990.

 

The good thing is....it ugly so no 1 will steal mine.lolx

 

And since it not often stolen means I got to enjoy more.haha

For many, the fun is the modding/personalization process. Some may not favor another's choices of colors/design/accessories, but its purely personal.

 

The best advice I could give to u is, if u wanna keep a bike for longer term,

1) that bike must be fun/capable for the kind of riding u wanna do.

2) u must like the look n be really love it. If u end up oogling at others while riding it, u definitely will haf another mistress or divorce soon.

Nope. We might haf other makes. But seriously, it doesnt matter what bikes u ride. Just be a good sport, it wil do.

 

Itinerary:

Meet at 8.30am at Simpang Bedok Prata shop next to Shell.

 

Leave for trail at 9am

 

Finish and go at ard 10.30am

 

Drink kopi, wash bike, go home.
