Strange, your removeable rack should comes with 2 locking pins, one each side..

to remove rack, you needa take out 3pins each side.. so one of the pins is actually changed to lock so that it's not "steal-able"..

 

Sadly H&B dun really update their online catalog.. Try Biketech21 for the catalog..

$10k for legacy?? I say go for the super tenere 1200.

 

I just came back from the Thai south with the Super tenere. With heavy rain and some knee high floods.

 

U want to go thru all this with your $40k machine and not worry about anything???

richard hi has bring his S10 to offroad with us near Gelang Petah..

 

TM would be tiring for big bike...GP Trail offers better landscape and open trails..

 

 

Any terrain, can be done. It the rider ! haha, Enjoy

As per unique tirelist pricing:

Metzeler Tourance 110/80-19 150/70-17 $385.00

 

I dont think it should last that long on road, and personally I wun wanna use it. I prefer it to be smooth.

 

Accessories wise, I'm definitely going for hepco becker. I'm considering the alu standard or the alu xclusive as the hinge are more durable than the xplorer imo. I do dig the xplorer looks alot, and my previous alu standard tend to get scuff marks easily. So, i'm still considering the options.

 

If I get the xplorer 40L 2 sides, i may get a single alu standard 35L for the right side for local riding.

 

Crash bars wise, I'm considering getting what richard is selling, and get Sengkwang to add more protection to protect the radiator area, like the one on waspworks.

 

Other accessories, I'm thinking, is the adjustable windscreen bracket, cruise control from Motaradgarage and bash plate. Maybe riser bars too. But that should come alot later.
