Ahhh

Go to eBay SG n search for super tenere 1200.

The cost SG $236, free shipping.

It depends on how much u care for your bike & what condition will u subject the bike to.

Mild off road & road only then OEM & SW motech will be fine.more heavy stuff then H&B will not go wrong.

1 cent worth for 1% quality beh.:thumb:

1. The engine I felt a little rough, may be it is not broken in yet.

2. Power delivery, both S and D mode, traction on and off, didnt get that surge in acceleration like an inline 4, more like a steady build up.

5. The rear brake lever, to me its too small. Several times, my foot just couldn't

1. Ride more & it will smooth out.

2. S mode - pump throttle till 4k rpm...it flies.

5. Yes, stock is small.go for either touratech spike add-on or H&B flat add-on( owner style)

Side wind deflectors cost $69.99USD to $79.99USD Most will ship to Singapore using USPS Priority at about $30USD++.

The us forum seller has no stock but the pricing is good.

HL price sure high due to re-freight from USA-holland then SGP.USD=EU$=S$. Exchange loss + makeup margin.

Talk nicely to HL sales counter.....I'm sure the could be better beh.

Is there a super tenere newsletter For subscription to get these updated news so soon?

Haha.. So it's yours.. Share your reviews please..

After reading reviews on Arrows, I'm gonna bite the bullet and take Akra also..

Posted

For a moment u tot i stalked by u. N the s10 behind me when i left bikeshop dont look like u too leh.

Anyway, arrow exhaust review not gd meh? Based on wat i heard during our last meet up, the akra is definitely the lowest in volume. Oso, as u cant remove e silencer, its not for those who wants a volume increase..

I do like it this way thou, dont haf to go make fake silencer or take in take out my silencer. Sound is bassy n loud enuf for my liking.

For build quality, i think its very gd. Nice n simple touches at e exhaust tip.

For performance, definitely alot more straight thru than e stock. It removed the annoying sound n feeling when dragging e throttle..

Personally, i dunno how to comment le, as i havent tried e remus n arrow.. u can try it for yaself.. Btw, these also one among us tats using the yoshi rs3.. :)

I reckon any Street legal slip-on approve for local use are decent.

What's left is the purchaser taste & wallet thickness.:thumb:

it's more of Akra had convincing results than Arrow being not good.. haha..

cant take out meh?? on youtube, some Akra are louder.. should be able to take out if i'm not wrong..

i reckon the Arrow header, Akra endcan combo being very deadly..

RS3 wow!!

counting down, 5 more days!!

I'm actually stuck between an Akra and an Arrow. While performance is the primary factor, sound too plays an important part to me.

I am an Akra fanboy. I had great results the last time when I was riding my Fazer. But I was rather dissapointed when I found out that the silencer can't be removed.

I have heard a silenced Arrow end can and I like it. A full system should even better. Now I'm torn in between.

If only the Akra's silencer is removable. My choice would have been clearer.

It really a waste that such a beauty slip-on are cap with end can buffer to clear the local noise level.

Same goes for arrow/Remus/Leo Vince.

Matching slip-on with header should be the ideal setup.

Overall,header is a good choice.

Crispy pull from low rev till redline.the only resist factor is road & speed trap....lol

I am wondering. Can an Akra endcan fit an Arrow header without modifications?

There's also an after market header from offtheroad.com. No idea what brand.

Here's the equation:

Step 1:

Akra slip-on goes on stock header..

Arrow slip-on fits stock header.. Arrow Slip-on goes on Arrow header..

Step 2: (elimination)

Akra slip-on (goes on) (stock header)..

(Arrow slip-on) fits (stock header).. (Arrow Slip-on) (goes on) Arrow header..

Step 3: (answer)

Akra slip-on fits Arrow header.. :cheer::cheer::cheer:

by removing the stock header, it's same as removing the CAT(there's one at the stock header right?)..

the CAT is a major volume and performance limiter..

a R6 with it's CAT removes runs better and loud even on stock endcan..

Yeah! removing the cat makes the pipe run more bassy and louder ah. But it will affect the FC. Nonetheless its a good mod to try. I wanna do mine soon........full system....heheh!

Couldn't agree more bro. Got my CAT removed + RS3 = Noise louder than a Ducati on Termis.... makes u check your mirrors more often while u are on S'pore roads..

it interesting that the akra can claim 99BHP with a slip-on while Arrow need a FS to achieve the same 99BHP.

guess there is serious flow design in the muffler. while changing the header could create unwanted airflow CFM issue and distrub the intented muffler flow design.

As for the OTR header....at 529EU...abit ex leh...Arrow if recall is 280EU b4 shipping.

to my knowledge, exhaust design is a science, every blend every thickness will have different effect.

well....just for discussion nia.:thumb:

yes, you are right..

every bend and diameter of header, even to the thickness of wall of header will have different effects on the HP gains/losses!!

normally bends shouldnt be exceeding a certain angle (

IMO, any exhaust companies out that that comes out with a header will sure go thru R&D..

if that header removes CAT, it'll be way better than stock one..

you guys might wanna check your brakes..

This to happen from a fresh bike from HL will be rare.As USA S10 has a extra item call front reflector which require the dealership to remove the brakes and add on the reflector bracket while local SGP S10 does not have that reflector hence HL task is just mount up the front rim since the brakes are factory tighten.

However upon any brake pad/Svc at workshop then it will be good to 'eye power' that the bolts are tighten.

Cheers
