Type a key word (in this case is Mainstand) in the textbox in Search this forum

 

Then select - SingaporeBikes․CB400 Super Four as your search target

 

Then the results shown are those with the key words in it.

 

From what I know, Chiong Aik/FJT are selling it. Price is $200 +/- (Depending on material)

 

Version S can't install mainstand

Hmm okay but sometimes the results are alot. Can I narrow it down or something?

 

Like maybe paintwork or spray paint.

i suggest u get the better quality... more expensive?? yes .... but at least u dun have to spend extra $$$ to weld back if the "inside" broke...

What u mean by the 'inside' break? Any pics to show? Gd quality as in the material? Did u install also, where if u did?

 

Btw i did do a search before using 'main stand' but not much info...later changed to 'mainstand' n got the answers i want already...wa...juz a spacing makes so much diff... :smile:

Wow! if really can put mainstand, then less hassle when cleaning oil chain and adjusting chain.

Does anyone know whwere can install main stand?

 

For slanting side stands, the other time the mechanic just bend it inwards, after that it became better.:bouncefire:

or try adding extension to the side stand, will help to "straighten" the bike..

Vtec was not design for main stand installation but was included for later model like Spec II & III. It's not totally impossible but the trouble taken it's just not worth it. The bike need to be down fior a few days for the removal of engine to fix the bracket to hold the main stand rod. Alternatively, get a padlock stand....:cheeky:

motor x, look up at current cb400 tshirt thread pg 5. another name for the shop is greedy pet shop. they got the map in..

$100+ just so that can apply chain lube w/o hassle... hmm.. not sure if worth it or not.. considering.

Hey guys, the right side of my main stand is very near the tyre (the opp side of the side stand) !!! :giddy:

 

is it normal ???? the distance between them is only abt 1cm nia wor. :sweat: scare it might touch the tyre and it is quite wobby !!!

 

need help abt this !!! nt sure is it the main stand does nt fit my bike or is it normal !! btw my ride is a vtec 3

when u first got it was it this close?

can try bring to bike shop and adjust..

try to ask them to fix liao but they say nothing will happen 1, but wat if something happen ??? :mad: i the 1 to suffer !!
