Main Stand & Side Stand Issues

Yes, must ask first then can decide la. LAst time I was there I was told to speak to Ah Piow who told me no stock and if stockcomes, price probably much higher which is why I decided not to wait and go for the paddockstand instead.

so my another Q is, spec I confirm can't fix main stand? or can fix, provided with some minor modification on it?

confirm spec 1 cannot fixed, only for Spec 2 & 3 with fittings and rubber stopper

 

(at mid section of exhaust) ready. Nothing to do with other modifications unless

 

stock exhaust FS is removed. No problem if only end can was replaced.

I not familiar with spec1, butjst look under your bike infront of the rear wheel. On the frame do you see two holes mounted in lne with the frame parallelto each other? Also on the exhaust near the same area is there an extra piece sticking out horizontally with a hole? Those are the mountings for the stand and the rubber stopper.

OEM from FJT should be out of stock..Cheong main stand can get from Motorworld, price $130.

eeerhh i forgot..btw person who install main stand be more careful, it very easy to hit both side metal if you corner too low.

Note : Remember to check the main stand after fixing it.. make sure the stand did nt hit ur tyres after fixed up... it happens to mine at motorwXXXX the tip of the stand was grinding my tyres for afew days till i found out..

Just wondering if any of the Spec 1 riders using main stand?? As what i know, Spec 1 doesnt have the bracket for main stand..

correct, i ask before as well. Spec 1 lacks the bracket needed for the main stand. if there is, i might fit one on my bike cos having a main stand is really useful. my previous bike had one and it's really gd to have one be it to oil the chain or to mend a flat tyre..

Yes. Spec 1 cannot put main stand...

 

 

But maybe u can try go Seng Kwang see whether they can do some modifications to fit a main stand....
