i dont mind if he cuts me when im stopping. but this one swee swee bike is at biting point moving. then he swwsh! waah. damn shock leh. if i bang him frm behind, i die. if i bang him, car behind bang me, more worst.

btw anyone heard of the Green Petrol station at woodlands road? how is it uh?

 

IMHO...Petrol are all same same one lah...regarless of company. They ar all blended either in SPC or Shell Bukom refinery. There are specifications that has to be abid by for our modern range of vechicle usage and its all about "Ron" number (Octane level). The only time you felt the different is the fuel itself when it goes into your tank. If you can keep your petrol fuel as cool as possible whenever you can in your tank..it'll be at its best condition with regards to blended condition.

 

You can use the green oil to reformulate it for that smoothness if you want. Think of it as like 2T on atwo strokes bike which helps to lubricate the dried out cyclinder wall when after you part over night (basic knowledge of how 4 Strokes Engine works here is needed to understand what's just said). Wnat to know more...only available at Teck Ghee Sqaure Ko-pee talks :)

Not sure about the brembo model number, but few days ago when I happen to park beside a ducati monster, I notice the brembo brakes on both bikes look identical.

 

Maybe you can check with JuZ_FZ6 since he has taken out his brembos. There might be some indications on them.

Just to make things clear here..the rectifier is the unit that regulates the right charging current per hour to and for the battery..not the alternator. The alternator generates ac (alternate current) for the rectifier (voltage regulator) to out put dc (direct current). Indirectly...yes, the alternator is an important component and its actually crank start by the batter supply...its a merry-go-round thingy work flow.

 

Yupp, that's my understanding too..

 

It's basic science actually.

 

Alternator generates +ve and -ve voltage, rectifier converts them to either constant +ve voltage or constant -ve voltage. In terms of our bikes, it's the constant +ve voltage.

 

The whole thing works as a system. Anything spoil will definitely affect others in the same system.

"EO" abbreviated form for "Engine Oil". The post here as indicated by the poster saying that the heat is generated from your engine block because of too much eo when filled by his mechanic. so he suggested to check your eo level..too high..you may have to suck some out. That's how I understand it.

I think is the natual gas station that you are referring to.

Mine is the UG3 180cc model. Most recent one just luanch is the 200cc model. Petrol consumption is low. Can get average 45km/l at average speed of 80km/h.

 

Price for the newest model not sure leh, best is you check with universal motors.

Should be above 5K.

 

For a 2b bike, the looks is there, one of the best looking naked 2b bike.

 

BUT!!! Being a indian bike, the quality is not there. All my petrol savings go to changing spoilt parts.

 

Have you heard of a 1 year old bike leaking oil from busted engine block gasket???

 

Think many many times before you buy this bike thinking that you can save on petrol.

Just asked yesterday..the new 200 India Pulsar is at 5.5K..more power and fuel consumption about same..hear say hear say from the bike shop lah. He said not recommended like what Joajos said about quality made.:giddy:

 

The new Yamaha 150 is powerful..smoother..consumption competitive with Pulsar but much much more reliable due to its liquid cooling unit and efi system..about 5.7K..errr..oso made in India.:giddy:

 

The best among the three..he said..look longish because of the front cowl fairing and most reliable and tough :thumb: ...consumption not bad and price at $5K is the Honda CBF 150. Again all this is just bike shop owner selling talk only...we never know the true till we own and used them.

HI guys,

 

I am thinking of trading in my wave125 to a version S.... but i can't get to see any good or should i say (a well taken care version S) at any motor shop. Most of the version S i saw its like very old and rusty parts every where.

 

Any of you guys have any idea where can i get a good deal???

 

Or did you guys saw any well taken care version S that i can go and have a look???

r u referring to the top gasket?...well mine also leaked a few weeks back from e top of e block where got those two round round shaped thing on both sides.....dont know wat u call it..anyways i did valve clearance since reach over 100k km mileage plus change the top gasket for 180 at planet motor.u have to leave it at his place for like 2 workin days....u can always use cheaper semi synthetic if ur on budget like me....hope this helps...

without valve clearance i tink its between 48 n 78 depending on shop...u can always call planet ask for a quote n let e owner troubleshoot ur problem first...how abt u go down Unique n ask them how much to change jus the head gasket?...if e price does not meet ur budget den u can always walk away...cheers..

hi everyone, i just bought a cheap s4 frm an uncle, the proble is the bike seem to be overheating fast, i feel like my leg burning at the side.. I wana ask, the radiator fan, will it auto on when i start the engine or does it need me to move than it will start??.. Cos mine not moving when i start the engine

It won't start immediately when you start the engine cos the coolant is circulating when the engine is started. Only when your bike doesnt move after some time, when the coolant is not cooled by moving air, the overheated thermostat will activate the fan.

 

By the way, how cheap is cheap? Check your coolant also. If milo-peng liao, time for a coolant flush.

motoworld got sell but need to wait... ah boy got sell not that tight fitting on the side ..abit only .. but overall i feel okay with it
