Guys, i have a problem. my bike has problems starting but when i push start then ok.. i noe wat the problem is but i dun noe where to go to trust with mi bike..

 

i am guessing its my coil and the rectifier.. pls advice me guys where should i go to... thanks..

Take out tank is very easy one.

 

1. take out seat.

 

2. Behind fuel ****, got 2 tubes, one big one small. Take out the big one. Take out the small one at the other end, not the end connected to the fuel ****.

 

3. Take out the fuel level sensor at the other side of the tank, it is a black connector under the tank.

 

4. Take out the 2 screws.

 

5. Lift up the tank using the place where the screws are. look below. got 2 tubes?? if yes take them off.

 

6. Finally hold the tank at the front, somewhere in the middle where there is an arch, then hold the other end, where the screws were. Lift up the screw side, then slide the tank towards the rear of the bike. Once you feel that the front side is loose you can lift off the whole tank from your bike.

 

Ok, think that's about it. Ah Pek, anything to add?

 

My final statement: Taking out is easy, putting back is not!!

Very common problem lah..but don't anyhow "guess"..afterwards your pockets all got "gas" left only.

 

You have not tell us the status of your battery conditions...like when was it last changed (always good to put a date on it with a marker)..you are diving in to deep to the core of the sympton. First to check should be the battery status. Again...it could be anything else..what about starter motor?..did it crank normally..or like dying or...

 

Anyway..do check out the thread "TechGhee Tech Talk" ..eventually...common fault like that would be touch on...just a guide for self troubling shooting before going to a bike clinic..so you would know that the mechanic cannot bluff you that your Stator Magnetic Coil is spoil...also your rectifier gone..and your battery oso spoiled

Need some enlightening guys.... At any gear when i try to drag the rpm to ard 6 or 7 suddenly the exhaust gave this weird sound, not the regular smooth sounds, seems like a chocking sound... Anyone know what the problem is?...

 

erm from ur scenario only gif me 2 tots tt will cause it.. is either ur tuning is out or ur engine is nt in very gd condition

chk ur battery 1st dude .. chk by lookin at the headlight, signal light or ur horn .. they appear to be dim or soft when u horn .. alway chk from the cheapest troubleshooting to the most complex .. read ah pek teck ghee talk guide will help ..

ah pek, check wif u ah...now like start bike aftr awhile it will die off....it need to warm up for some time in order not to die off....izzit the lvl of the eo not enough or wad reason?

Responding to queries from The New Paper on Sunday, a spokesman for both the ICA and the Singapore police confirmed that the authorities are cracking down on incessant honking by motorists at the checkpoints....

can appeal wan .. if they are smart enough to do tt .. Singapore alway gif harsh punishment but u appeal you still got chance to reduce ur penalty but depend on ur penalty oso ..

Today I bought this VerS. And I was given 2 keys. One for the engine, the other for the seat. Is this normal?

That means the seat key or the ignition key got change before. wah like that pek check lei but good also la. in terms of security. but then if clumsy people who always forgot like me sure got problem. hehehe
