Heh Hanxx...can give some feedback about your fc. Earlier your fc was bad..so, after the corn-rod, psiton etc..replacement, is there any fc improvement. Helps to know. Thanks in advance.

Ah Pek, wadafark here! Heheh. Wanna ask you, after new piston rings are installed, is there a need to run-in? The engine previously had 9000 miles (15,000 km), but I'm changing the rings and other parts for a refreshed engine. If so, must use mineral oil, yes? When using mineral oil for run-in, should I use the X1-R that I bought from you?

Heh my friend! :0) Really..I do not know how it started that having a new set of just piston rings have to be run in...what I mean is..what is their to run in when the cyclinder wall is already no more a virgin..dunno kenna how many millions of stroke and shafting by previous piston at Superman speed somemore..ha...x3!

What I think what these ppl mean is that the ring is new and kind of 'rough' at its edges in the manufacturing finishing process. Just be gentle for a few km like say 10 km IMHO is more then enough. Its getting rid of those irregularties at the ring's edges if any..just that we do not want to scar the cyclinder wall any further.

About mineral oil instead of fully sync..also don't know who started that..must be the mineral oil manufacturer at that time when sync oil was invented..scare they loose business in the eo industries...hor..x3! Sync performance better and so why "mineral". Plse note that what I say here is at your own discretion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I for one take what I said here.

X-1R?..yes, why not?..but I suggest you use 1 oz to a litre. If I were you, I would rather go for Nano Biochem lube :thumb: first to rebuild the aged wear and tear and sacrring cyclinder wall first so that the new pistions rings seats in beautiful like just after running in of a new bike. Till about three full tank of fuel after, than add X-1R to prevent friction and enhance reliability of the cyclinder wall coating. Can get the Nano lube from me if you need.

hey ah pek,was expecting FC to improve also after overhaul, but sadly,no.HAHA.

the first tank after overhauled hits only 240km before reserve.

could probably be the EO,currently is Agip Semi Syn:sian:

not smooth at all, never knew riding s4 can be so tiring with such EO,performance far from your EO with X1R:cheeky:

was only smooth for first few hours?LOL

yeah, anyway, will monitor my fc again when changed to your EO.lol:angel:

yeah i have a ver s with spec 3 tail, its true it looks nice and 'young'.

bought the bike with it.

Whats important is still the internal.

The other bros are right, what for look nice when your bike conditions cui.

i think what they meant is invest in maintaining your bike in good condition, and got more spare cash then invest in cosmetics lor.

After all, just their kind suggestions.its up to u after all.

When buying battery...get to know the CCA value! CCA means "Cold Cranking Current..oso the rating for it the higher the better load it can handle..and the higher number by "AH"..the more current it receive when charge by that hour.

Hello S4 brothers,

just got my VerS few days ago, so far everything seems alright, but just a few issue I would like to ask, my front 2 signal lights is always on with my headlights. When I asked the mechanic he said its normal cause mine is stock signal lights.

Is it true? And I feel strong vibrations on the handlebar when the rpm hits about 4.5-5.5k. But after that become smooth again. Is that normal?

Thank you!
