Just for the needle as a spare replacement know as I understand it comes with the speedo counter assembly costing $200+. You want I can get a piece but its gonna cost you quite a bit including workmanship (not easy to take off the needle indicator stemp..pm me.

As for brake pad, those $22 a set for front and back will do..brands like "Fredo" and "Izumi" is good enough. Been using it for years. If you are into EBC, Frends..etc..paying $50+ a set which are I believe better (in what I don't know)..you can always opt for it but I find its a waste as my cheap and good does just as good. For brake pad..can go to Ah Fook mototiam at AMK Ave 10 Industrial Park 2 Blk 5032, #295.

coolant seems to be draining fast...but see no leak from anywhere...travelled only about 150km. initial level in between high and low...now lower den low...

If all hoeses and pump are ok..your thermostat or radiator are rather bad then if its a case of still overheating. Thermostat stuck..no coolant flow..if not stuck, radiator badly clogged with rust liao.

You seem to be teaching ur mototiam in a way..how dod u ended up buyiong a bike from that mototiam in the first place. End of the day, somehow..you have to tell them to do up ur bike right. That time I saw the back suspension and you told me they just service, I nearly died!:faint:

Don't use anything that you are uncertain off. There are a lot of advertising hype and claims but no one will say its their fault if your bike bite the dust and settle in a motiamspital.

I recommend you use valve cleaner and when bottle finished..follow by green oi...the best time to use it is on long trips.:sian:

thailand still have gasoline 91.. (major brands like caltex, esso)

price wise more ex than gasohol 95..

so if you see the pricing.. aga aga pump lo.

refer to the trip trills thread for more info on thai petrol

The main problem with the blend is the corrosive power which can cause problems with rubber products. Anyhow the corrosive power is very small and the metal parts are not affected.

Ethanol may corrode certain materials. In one way it is good because it can clean up corrosion in the carburettor and fuel systems but on the other hand it may damage old rubber products like o-rings, oil-seals and membranes. Almost all vehicles manufactured during the last 15 years have rubber products that are E10 resistive.

AFAIK, versionS were produced between 1996-1999 (less than 15yrs), so can i safely say that rubber parts in fuel system are "E10 resistive"? (E10 means ethanol 10% gasahol)

If I'm not wrong, only need to run i when you change piston, piston rings or block? Maybe camshaft? All the major engine components. From wht I know run in is to slowly get rid of the irregularities in the piston rings. Like smoothen it out, I maybe wrong.
