guys, i haven rode my busa for abt 2 weeks as i was away. couldnt start the bike when i returned. seems like totally drain the battery. so i went to charge it at a nearby motorshp and tried to start the bike again the next day but still cant. so is my battery considered goner or can i still salvage it? ive only used it abt 6 mths.

or worse still.. is there sometin wrong wif my wiring? perhaps leakage anywhere? any help appreciated.

Whenever I have to leave my ride for a longish period of time (10 days or so), I would disconnect one end of the battery. If you have an alarm fixed, chances are, it will drain the battery even faster. If your alarm is set to super high sensitivity when it will trigger if a cockroach scurries pass, then your battery would be gone even faster! lol.

it's DOESN'T

QS have done it again. hehe

Read bout the abnormal clutch noise tingy.. My k9 got that sound too but after some tym of idling or high speed eventually the noise went off.. It only occurs on the starting of idling.. Does that got to do with the problem stated above? If it is,wat should i do? if go back agent would i b charge coz my bike still under warranty..

didnt use a pannier bag before but i guess it will be "rubbing" on the pillion leg.

due to the sitting position.

check your chassis number.

against wat is stated.

then if it fails within. check with your agent see they can do anything anot.

if u are daring n know how to.

diy is possible. take out fairing, take out clutch case then tighten then u are done.

the thing is u need to have torque WRENCH.

Thanks.

Meanwhile to the rest of guys here. Enjoy your ride. I have. And I'm enjoying something different now.

some impression of the new SHOWA Big Piston Fork (BPF) currently available on zx-6r and k9 1000.

the Big Piston Forks give an odd feeling which I’ll need to get used to during the course of the day.

"These forks offer quite a lot of resistance going into the corner which makes the bike feel too stiff at first. It gives the initial impression that the bike is heavy and slow to steer but I know through speaking to fellow road tester, Adam Child, when he road the ZX-6R, which has the same forks, at it’s launch that the harder you ride the better they feel. So we'll see how that goes throughout the course of the day.
