got a qns, why would a k8 busa wan to do a top overhaul now ??

bros, ive gt qns to ask.. i seldom ride my busa nwadays. but the problem is, the battery will go flat if i didn warm/ride the bike up within 3 to 4 days. i dun tink this is normal right. perhaps due to:

1) theres a current leak somewhere (wiring problem)

2) the alarm, gipro, voltage stabilizer is faulty/ sucking up the battery

3) rectifier/charging issues

in any case, im too lazy to surgery on the bike and try to figure out. anyone got this prob too? any workshop to recommend?? appreciate any suggestions..

what you talking.. dont understand....

having a fast bike N ride fast doesnt make the rider fast.

End of the day is the EGO... many local riders who ride a so call fast machine , labelled themself FAST... :faint:

high mileage bike? owner too rich? owner modding the bike? the list goes on...

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

in the states, some of the busa rider will put their bike to charge whenever they park the bike cos they seldom ride it. similar to your case. so maybe u would like to do that also.

also how old is ur battery. it could be a old battery that is unable to hold it charge anymore.

alarm and vs could be one of the reason.

the charging have to check. read the manual of how to do it. cheers

Let's put it this way... Owner now has a super-headache lah... :sian: Apparently not the 1st case for the Gen2

in the case of a snapped timing chain...

it's highly likely the valves have already met the pistons.. that will easily result in changing out the entire cylinder head.. and probably the mentioned pistons...

the damage is usually severe... i've just recently witness a broken valve on a s4... not a pretty sight... have taken several pics for momento...

the only thing is to hope its covered under warranty.. if not.. good luck to the owner's wallet..
