Free From the Curse by Kenneth Copeland on 20th May 2010

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.

– Galatians 3:13

You know the story. Satan came to Adam's wife in the form of a serpent and deceived her into disobeying God. Adam, although he was not deceived, followed suit.

When Satan came into the Garden that day, he didn't have any power at all. He had to come in like a sneak, not even talking to Adam directly but talking to his wife.

Now Adam was standing there, and he should have kicked him out right then. But he didn't. Instead, he set aside the command God had given him and did what Satan told him to do instead...and when he did that, he made Satan his lord.

In bowing his knee to Satan, Adam gave Satan the authority that God had given man. He made Satan the illegitimate ruler of the earth. Immediately things changed. Through one man's trespass, death passed to all men (Rom. 5:12).

The earth and everything in it was suddenly cursed.

"Okay," you say, "are we to live under this curse for the rest of our lives? Wasn't there anything God could do?"

He could and He did! He sent Jesus. Through Jesus, He set us free from the curse (Gal. 3:13).

The moment you made Jesus Christ Lord of your life, you were delivered from the lordship of Satan. You were redeemed from the curse. I didn't say the curse wasn't out there anymore. It is! You can see it all around you. But now you have a choice. You have authority over it in the Name of Jesus, so you can stand against it.

God's done everything that love can do. He sent Jesus to redeem you from the curse. The rest is up to you. Now you must appropriate what has already been done for you.

John 15:7 (New International Version)

7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

-- it's true & it really works for me. :)

Supposing you took part in some lucky draw and happened to win the 1st prize, which is an all-expenses paid trip by Economy class to an exotic destination such as the Maldives for a week, costing more than S$5,000. When you go to the travel agent to claim your prize, he tells you, "Sorry, sir/ma'am. This package is no longer available". And then he goes on to say, "In exchange, how about a trip to this neighboring country on a budget airline?" (which cost maybe S$500).

What would your response be?

1. It's okay. Anyway, since it's free, I'll take whatever I can get that you can give.

2. No way, Jose! The lucky draw said a trip to the Maldives, so at the minimum, you should give me something that is equivalent to S$5,000.

Now imagine instead of the above, let's say the agent says, "Sorry, sir/ma'am. This package is no longer available. In exchange, how about we fly you Business class, add another week to it, at no additional costs?" (even though it will cost at least another S$10,000 more)

What would your response be?

3. Paiseh leh. Let me pay you for the difference of S$10,000.

4. Thank you! This is really an unexpected but pleasant and wonderful surprise! I am really grateful for your generosity!

We may read the above illustration and smile, especially at response #2 because that's a typical Singaporean reaction. But let's just take a step back and reflect upon this. 2,000 years ago, an unfair exchange took place. Jesus who knew no sin, was punished for our sin, so much so that God the Father had to turn His back on His own beloved Son. In exchange for that, we who were sinners, can now go right into the very presence of God the Father and stand before Him as righteous and uncondemned because the veil was torn in two.

Yes, it was an unfair exchange. Consider the following:

(1) We deserved death, but God, through the death of Jesus, has given us abundant life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

(2) We deserved curses, but Jesus by dying on a cross, took those curses upon Himself, so that we can be blessed with the blessings of Abraham.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree, He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (Gal 3:13,14)

(3) Jesus who knew no sin, became sin so that we can be made the righteousness of God in Christ.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)

(4) Jesus agonized in the garden of Gethsemane (which means oil press). He was under so much stress and pressure that His capillaries burst and mixed with His sweat which fell to the ground. By doing so, He redeemed mankind from the curse that God pronounced upon Adam in another garden (the garden of Eden), whereby work would be stressful and backbreaking. We of the New Covenant should be working from a position of rest.

And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (Lk 22:44)

By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Gen 3:19)

(5) Jesus took those lashes upon His body, so that by His stripes, we are healed and can now walk in health and wholeness.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isa 53:5)

(6) Jesus, who created the heavens and the earth and owns the cattle on a thousand hills, was stripped totally naked on the cross, after the soldiers gambled for His robe. He was made poor on the cross for our sakes, so that we might be rich.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. (2 Cor 8:9)

(7) Jesus was abandoned by His Father at the cross and thus cried, "My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?" so that in exchange, we can cry to Him, "Thank you my Daddy God, for I know that you will never leave or forsake me."

About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matt 27:46)

Do you see and grasp the Greatness of our Father's love?

No wonder the motto of LR is:

Matthew 11:28 (New King James Version)

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jesus spoke these very words to the religious people of that day … who labor and were heavy laden by religion :faint:

a) Religion is pointing man to self

b) True Christianity is pointing man to Jesus and His Finished Work

I will only blog and gather as often as the Lord leads

When I first saw Jennifer at a seminar on recovery that I was leading, I noticed a lady who appeared to be very withdrawn and whose face, apart from very sad eyes, was expressionless.

She never said much all day but her body language spoke volumes. It didn't take a great deal of insight to realize that Jennifer was in pain. I moved on to our next seminar and didn't give any more thought to Jennifer; that is, until a few weeks later when she turned up a thousand miles away at a more intensive week-long counseling workshop.

Here her story unfolded. Little did I know how great her pain was. She was at breaking point. She had sought help but nothing brought her relief. She had a young son and was about to give him up for adoption so somebody else could take care of him. Furthermore, she said she was so afraid to be touched she couldn't stand her own child hugging her.

It was no surprise that Jennifer was a rape victim-repeated rape. (Her son was a child of rape). It started when she was very young and left her paralyzed with fear. Like a lion in the forest preys on wounded animals, perpetrating men saw Jennifer as an easy prey and had been violating her for much of her 40 years.

She felt that suicide was the only way out.

She came to our counseling week as a last hope. As nothing else had worked she had determined that if she didn't find help here, she was going to take her life. She felt that suicide was the only way out. Fortunately, Jennifer found a place where she felt safe to share her story and express the incredibly painful emotions that had been bottled up inside of her since she was first raped as a small child. Time and again she had been shamed. She felt ugly, dirty, unlovable, despised and used of men.

To be healed she needed to confess not only what had happened to her (where she had been sinned against) but confess or express all the hurt, shame, anger (rage), and the terror that was justifiable but, having been internalized, was destroying her. This type of confession or catharsis (emptying out) was essential to open the way for her to be able to forgive her violators so she could be freed from the past and to open the door for her healing. It was incredibly painful for her, but she did it.

Then we prayed for Jennifer. She went back to her room and returned a totally different person. She put on a pretty blouse, makeup, fixed her hair, and came in wearing a million-dollar smile. Her healing and freedom from the past had begun.

Jennifer is going to need ongoing support because most healing is a process, not just a single event. She will need to continue in a twelve-step or other type of recovery group with supportive fellow strugglers, and may need further counseling. She will also need contact with healthy men friends so she can see that not all men are abusive and learn to trust them. This will take time.

Jennifer's story is by no means an isolated case as there are millions of others who have been sexually, physically and/or emotionally abused. However, for those of us who have not suffered such extreme abuse, we may feel we have nothing to resolve.

The fact is, however, that there are few, if any, who haven't been hurt in some way, as everyone came from a dysfunctional family background to some degree or another. This is because we are all sinners. True, some families are more dysfunctional than others, but every family has been affected. Everybody has some damaged emotions and dysfunctions. Many of us are either codependent, overdependent, or over-independent. Each of us needs to be in recovery to become truly whole and truly interdependent.

One of the facts of life is that we are destined to repeat in one form or another those dysfunctions we fail to resolve, or take out our hurt and anger on the ones we love - and then pass on our dysfunctions to our kids! This is why it is imperative that, with God's help, we resolve them. The following steps will help.

First, we need to admit that we have been hurt, that we have a problem, and that we need healing.

Second, we need to want healing bad enough to be willing to face our pain rather than bury it. As Jesus, the Master physician, said to a man who had been an invalid for 38 years: "Do you want to get well?"1 Only those who want to be healed will be. The half-hearted never make it.

Third, It is not enough to talk about our painful feelings. We need to find a safe place with a trusted friend, counselor, a therapy group, or a recovery group to experience and express all our feelings of hurt, guilt, shame, anger, fear, plus our sins and faults. These are the secrets that comprise our dark side which, unconfessed, keep us bound. As it has been said, "We are as sick as our secrets."

We don't overcome our faults, addictions and sins by being good but by confession, by being connected to trusted others, and by being loved. That is, by bringing our dark side to the light and being accepted by a few who know us fully and love us still. Most, if not all of our addictions and destructive behaviors are an acting out of our not feeling loved.

Fourth, when necessary, where we have hurt somebody else, we need to seek their forgiveness.

She came in wearing a million dollar smile. Her healing had begun.

Fifth, we then need to forgive all who have hurt us. This frees us from the past. Remember, however, we cannot put forgiveness over the top of unresolved hurt, grief or anger. These must be dealt with and resolved first.

Sixth, we also need to confess our sins and faults to God and ask for and receive his forgiveness. His Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."2

Seventh, we need to forgive ourselves, let go of the past, and move ahead to become the persons God planned for us to be.

Finally, we need prayer and God's help. I don't believe in the magic of quick fixes, but I do believe in the miracle of God's healing. In fact, one of the names for God in Hebrew, "Yahweh-rophe," literally means "The Lord who heals."

God wants to heal us and has shown us the way. It's in the Bible which says, "Confess your sins and faults to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed."3 Do you want to be healed? Do it God's way and you will be.

1. John 5:6. 2. 1 John 1:9 (NIV). 3. James 5:16.

From Faith to Faith -- Daily Devotional May 27, 2010

God Wants You Well by Kenneth Copeland

If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

– Exodus 15:26

Has the devil ever tried to put you under condemnation by telling you that it's contrary to the principles of faith to use doctors and medicine when you need healing? If so, here are some encouraging words that I believe will help you put your heart at rest.

It is God's will to heal you. That's the first and most important thing for you to understand. If your faith is strong and you can believe the Word without wavering (regardless of what circumstances or symptoms come against you), then you'll be able to receive that healing by faith alone.

But that kind of faith takes more than just hearing a few sermons about healing. It takes a deep personal revelation of God's healing power. So, if you haven't yet developed that kind of faith, the doctor is your best friend.

If you're not certain whether your faith is strong enough or whether you need a doctor's help, follow the instructions of the Apostle Paul (Col. 3:15) and let peace be your umpire.

If fear rises up within you when you think about doing without medical help, then go to a doctor. And go in faith! On the other hand, if you have a sure confidence within you that healing is yours strictly by faith, let your faith do its work and receive your healing directly. Whether or not you go to the doctor is not the issue. It is what you do with your faith.

Either way, you can rejoice knowing God is working with you, meeting you at the level of your faith. Thank God for your healing--however it comes!--and do not let Satan put you under condemnation. It is none of his business!

John 15:7 (New International Version)

One tip for those who are in dying need of a healing miracle. If you find that the way you prayed do not seem to work, try the steps below.

If you want corn, you plant corn seeds. If you want wheat, you plant wheat seeds. So plant the living truth of God's promises on healing in your mind & meditate on it day & night. When you do that , all unbeliefs, doubts, fear will flee & the living Word of God on healing will sprout, grow to become a tree bearing fruits a hundred fold.

Example Psalms 103:1-5. Each time you are free, just ponder on significance , meaning, implications, reasons for each words & sentence. Ponder upon Isaiah 53, the significance of the stripes he bored for all of us, feeeeel His great love for all of us, ask Him to reveal the experential revelation of His love hidden inside isaiah 53, till your tears start to flow. And recieve by faith the healing that was given 2000 years ago. Let faith worked through love & let the healing begin.

Jesus taught us to speak to the mountain, with a tiny faith size of a mustard seed, it shall move (Matthew 17:20) . Jesus demonstrated in Luke 4:39 to speak to the sickness & command the fever to leave Peter's mother. Likewise, with the power of the Holy Spirit in us, we can command sickness to leave, in the name of Jesus.

The above works for me on countless occasions, so you may want to try it on yourself.

Let's pray together a prayer of faith (matthew 18:19 says when 2 or more persons agree or declare Amen, it shall be done in the spiritual realm) :-

" Thank You Jesus for giving us salvation(John 3:16), prosperity (Malachi 3) & healing (Matthew 8:17), we have received them by faith. thank You for loving us first & we declare we love You too Jesus. Amen."

Which is better ? Is living from miracle to miracle better or living in such a blessed state that there is hardly a need for a miracle better?

I think it is better to be blessed, and have no lack, than to cry out to God for a miracle each day. I have seen in my Lighthouse cell group all kinds of people, some keeps seeking God for miracles or His supernatural interventions , some are so blessed that their lives seem so trouble free.

I believe that when a christian is walking so intimately with Him, obeying His commandments to love Him & others in speech & in works; our loving Father God will smite any problems or sickness even before you ask; even before the problem manifest from the spiritual realm to the physical realm. The spiritual realm is real according to Ephesian 6, and it says we are not fighting flesh & blood but against evil spiritual forces. And walking closely with Jesus every day every hour - praising Him , thanking Him for His love & declaring your love for Him every hour; is the key to a blessed life.

God blessed you all in Jesus' mighty name.

Ephesians 6:12

12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

From Faith to Faith -- Daily Devotional May 28, 2010

Receive the Man of God Kenneth Copeland

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.– John 13:20

I can't tell you how many born-again, Holy Ghost-filled Christians pick their pastor apart on Saturday night and then expect him to pray the prayer of faith for them Sunday morning! They'll constantly make critical comments about the evangelists and preachers that God has sent to minister to them and then wonder why the rain of the Spirit has all but dried up in their churches.

Most of those folks would never dream of criticizing the ministry of Jesus. Yet, according to the Word of God, that's precisely what they're doing. You see, Jesus said, "He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me."

I know ministers fail sometimes. I know they make mistakes. Jesus knew they would too. But, even so, He said, "If you receive them, you receive Me."

If you think some preacher's doctrine is wrong, then pray for him. Stop sitting under his ministry if necessary. But the Scripture says, "Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand" (Rom. 14:4, NIV).

The ministers of the gospel are not your servants, they're God's servants. Whether they're right or whether they're wrong, love them and respect them if for no other reason than to honor the One who sent them.

Learn to receive the minister of God that Jesus sends to you with the same respect and the same honor that you would give Jesus Himself. You'll open the door for great spiritual power to be released. You'll clear the way for God to meet your needs. The anointing of God will be released through the man of God to you.

Refuse to let criticism hold back the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Then get ready to be blessed because, I guarantee, He won't hold out on you.

Scripture Reading: Numbers 12:1-16

The Christians loved it:

It's a beautiful thing to God when a Christian does battle with pain.

When he faces threats, punishments and tortures by mocking death and treading underfoot the horror of the executioner; when he raises up his freedom in Christ as a standard before kings and princes; when he yields to God alone, and—triumphant and victorious—he tramples upon the very man who has pronounced the sentence upon him

God finds all these things beautiful. (Minucius Felix, The Octavius 37)

The Scriptures say, "The righteous are bold as a lion" (Prov. 28:1). The early Christians must have been righteous because they were most certainly bold.

How many of our people have borne that not their right hand only, but their whole body, should be burned … without any cries of pain. …

Do I compare men with [your Roman heroes]? Boys and young women among us treat with contempt crosses and tortures, wild beasts, and all the bugbears of punishment with the inspired patience of suffering. (ibid.)

The Bold Martyrdom

of

Polycarp of Smyrna

Polycarp was 86 years old when he stood before a Roman proconsul, condemned to die. The proconsul felt sorry for him. He gave him repeated instructions on how to avoid the punishment in store for him.

Polycarp was unimpressed.

Since you keep wasting your time urging me on … and pretend not to know who and what I am, listen to me announce with boldness: "I am a Christian.

"But if you want to learn what the doctrines of Christianity are, appoint me a day, and you shall hear them."

While we're on early Christianity, I have got to tell you this story about the apostle John!

This irritated the proconsul. He decided to put a little pressure on the old man.

"I have wild beasts at hand. I will throw you to them if you don't repent."

No effect.

"Call them, then. We're not used to repenting of what is good in order to adopt what is evil."

That was enough for the proconsul. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

"If you won't repent, I'll have you burned with fire, since you have no regard for the wild beasts!"

No better. The 86-year-old Polycarp was up to a face-to-face confrontation.

Pliny the Younger's Epistle to Trajan

It's exciting that there is still extant a letter from a Roman governor to the emperor concerning the treatment of Christians.

It talks about the way they should be tried (an example of which we have here with Polycarp), what should be done with them, and—best of all—the extent of their influence.

It was written between A.D. 110 and 120, a whole generation before Polycarp's trial!

"You threaten me with fire that burns for an hour, then goes out after a little while. You're ignorant, however, of the fire of the coming judgment and of eternal punishment, reserved for the ungodly.

"What are you waiting for? Bring out whatever you want."

The Martyrdom of Polycarp, from which I've gotten this story, adds:

When he spoke these things, and many others like them, he was filled with confidence and joy. His face was so full of grace that not only did it seem like he wasn't troubled by anything said to him, but the proconsul was astonished.

The proconsul really couldn't take any more, and he turned Polycarp over to the stadium crowd, which Polycarp had insulted minutes earlier. He had called the people atheists and told the proconsul that they weren't worthy to hear the doctrines of Christianity. The crowd, in a fevered rage, brought enough wood to build a bonfire, and Polycarp was burned alive at the stake.

POWER EVANGELISM

Below devotional is telling about preaching the gospel - the living truth. Little do people realised whenever the gospel is preached, the almighty God who created heaven & earth will personally send His angels to provide signs & wonders to attest to His truths.

Meditate on Mark 16:17-18, and notice how Jesus demonstrated His truth, notice how in book of Acts , preaching is also done with signs & wonders. This is how Jesus want us to preach the gospel; He spoke it , He demonstrate it & even believers (who are not apostles) showed it can be done in book of Acts. And a thousands souls are saved each time it is done according to Mark 16:17-18. The devil will tremble in fear & despair if all churches believed & exercise this truth!

So each time you step into a evangelistic meeting, be sure to cry out to God for your needs or your family needs in prayer. Put your faith in His words & not on your own bad experience or observations or unbiblical assumptions. And watch how our faithful God keeps His promises in Mark 16:17-18.

Let's praise God for His faithfulness, His mercies and His enduring love. Let's tell our Father God we love Him & thank Him for loving us so much that He died for our sins. Say with me :"Thank You Jesus for loving me, we love You too. Amen. amen"

-----------------------------------

Mark 16:17-18 (New International Version)

17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

Daily Devotions … Faith to Faith Pursuit of His Presence

Tell the Good News Kenneth Copeland

God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.– 2 Corinthians 5:19

Very few unsaved people today have ever really heard the good news. Why? Because too many Christians are busy telling the world God is mad at them. And telling them that they're terrible and wrong. Some call that good news, but it's not, and it's not what God has commissioned us to share.

He's given us the "word of reconciliation"!

He's sent us to tell the news that God has restored harmony and fellowship between Himself and men. All men. Not just believers. Not just the people in your church, but everyone!

That's right. The worst old reprobate sinner in the world is every bit as reconciled to God as you are. Look at Romans 5:10 and you'll see what I mean. It says that "when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son."

Reconciled. That word is past tense. God has already restored fellowship between Himself and the world. He did it when there was not one person on earth except Jesus who believed in the new birth. He did it when the entire world was lying in sin.

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God has cleansed and forgiven and restored to Himself every man, woman and child on the face of this earth. All any of us have to do now is receive that good news.

That's the good word God has given us. That's the word we need to share with those who are lost. If we'll do it, I can almost guarantee you, they won't stay lost very long.

James the Just Arouses the Wrath of the Rulers

After a while, James' influence became so strong that even some of the rulers believed, which horrified the scribes and Pharisees. They became afraid that soon the people would be flocking to Jesus as the Christ.

Somehow, perhaps because of his strict observance of the Law, the Pharisees thought they could get James to discourage the people from believing. They asked him to stand at the pinnacle of the temple on Passover and speak.

Apparently, James agreed.

They brought him to the top of the temple, and they shouted to him from below:

"Oh, righteous one, in whom we are able to place great confidence; the people are led astray after Jesus, the crucified one. So declare to us, what is this way, Jesus?"

Obviously, this wasn't a very wise thing for them to do. James was ready to take full advantage of such a wonderful opportunity as this!

His words are memorable:

Why do you ask me about Jesus, the Son of Man? He sits in heaven at the right hand of the great Power, and he will soon come on the clouds of heaven!

The Pharisees were horrified, but the people were not. The began shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David!"

The Pharisees, realizing the awful mistake they'd made, began crying out, "Oh! Oh! The righteous one is also in error!"

The Death of James the Just

You can probably guess that this had little effect on the crowd. So the next obvious thing to do was to push him down from the temple, letting the people know exactly what happens to those who dare to believe in Jesus.

They climbed the temple as the people shouted, reached the top, and threw James from the pinnacle of the temple.

It didn't kill him.

He rose to his knees and began to pray for them. "I beg of you, Lord God our Father, forgive them! They do not know what they are doing."

This would not do! The Pharisees on the ground began to stone him as he prayed, while those from the roof rushed down to join the execution.

One of the priests, however, a son of the Rechabites mentioned by Jeremiah the prophet (ch. 35), shouted, "Stop! What are you doing! The righteous one is praying for you."

It was too late. A fuller (i.e., launderer) took out one of the clubs that he used to beat clothes and smashed James on the head, killing him with one blow.

My love, my beloved, the body of Christ,

Abba would like to share with you what Jesus went through for you 2000 years ago. My love, you are fully redeemed! Here is my reveal to Stephanie. I hope this will bring you closer to me. End time is here! Jesus is coming back soon! Abba wants all of you to walk closely to Jesus and let Him blesses you! Glory Glory! Amen Amen!

Lord:

'My love, in my distress, Abba did send his angel to be my strength. With this, I am able to face death as a man and conquered it. All the pains and the sorrows I could understand.

In faith, I took all the sins and pains and sicknesses of all human race. I died as a man and resurrected as a man. When I rise to heaven, I am reinstated with my Godly nature. Glory Glory! The Complete Cycle of Man, I had done. With this, you are redeemed from birth till death. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!'

Lord:

'My love, yes, my blood vessels did break under stress, great stress, just like you sense your dad facing death. Mine is millions more for I know what I am heading for. Holy Spirit prepared me for the journey. It took strong faith in God the Father and knowing His love is for me that I walk out His Will.

Abba never forsake me, I know that. I went through the pain but I looked to Abba for deliverance. I let my body be beaten till like minced meat. I could hardly feel a whole piece, that is why I need someone to help me carried the cross.

My muscle was severely injured too! With all the sins and sicknesses and pain of the whole human race. I carried till the last stage; to hang on a tree to break the curse. With that, you are fully redeemed. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!'

My Abba father, thank You very much for revealing this to me as I meditated Luke 22:43-44. Glory to all that Jesus had done for me. I received Your Righteousness of God in Christ. Forever and ever, I am the Righteousness of God and I have the blessing of Abraham with me and forever, I am tall, slim, sexy, pretty and forever young at 20. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!

I love the last paragraph -->

We cannot base our beliefs on testimonies, positive or negative, but on God's Word -- "let God be true, but every man a liar" (Romans 3:4).

----------------

Even my bible-presbyterian younger brother was finally healed of incurable skin disease psoriasis, after he believed & obeyed what James 5:14-15 says. But that is after he suffered 25 years of skin disease & spent lots of money on it. he had to inject steroid to suppress the skin condition for decades , until recently doctor say the steroid is damaging his liver too much. And he used to make fun of God's anointed servants ; those famous healing evangelists. he used to call them fakes.

So lesson learnt is put our trust on God's Words which is the living truth, instead of man's unbiblical assumptions.

James 5:14-15 (New International Version)

14Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

Live in Power Gloria Copeland

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. – Romans 6:4

As a believer, you actually have residing in you the same new life God gave Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. The old sinner you once were has died. You've become a new creation on the inside.

You are full of the resurrection life of God!

But sin, disobedience and living a selfish, carnal life will keep that resurrection life from flowing out. Sin will separate you from the power of God, even though you're born again. Resurrection life will lay dormant in you if you walk in sin.

You can't overcome sin by trying to stop sinning, however. You overcome it by walking after the new life God has put within you; by spending time in the Word and in prayer. As you do that, the Spirit of God will strengthen you and enable you to put that sin under your feet.

Remember, though, the Holy Spirit will not subdue those old fleshly habits of yours on His own. He'll wait on you to take the initiative. Then He will strengthen you to follow through with your decision. He will teach you how to walk in the new life that is in you.

Take the first step today by asking for His help. Say, "Lord, I desire to experience the power to live by this new life every day. By a decision of my heart, I put down the dictates of sin. I declare myself dead to it. In Jesus' Name, I will spend time in prayer and in the Word today. As I do, I believe I'll receive a Holy Ghost refreshing in my life. I believe I'll begin to live out the resurrection power that You've placed in me!"

Did Kong Hee plagiarise?

University students know the seriousness of it. So do journalists, whose reputation stand on their ability to tell the truth. Even literary writers, whose job is to craft fiction, understand the need to be original.

So I was surprised to learn that large swaths of Kong Hee’s daily devotionals are lifted from other sources — without attribution. This unexpected revelation was brought to light by an anonymous blogger who devoted an entire blog called ‘Cheat Grace’ to exposing Kong Hee’s alleged plagiarism of other authors.

i often pray for “rojak preachers” to realise where they have gone wrong and start to become grace-based so that God can use them mightily for His kingdom work. After all, it's the message, not the messenger :thumb:
