"Overrun" red lite cam ard 5 metres from stop marker

i was riding n yellow flash on. was ard 10m from junction. tot i speed up n cn beat lite. den i remember ther got camera. faster press my brakes. bike stopped n back tire fishtailed. so i release abit brakes n rebrake again. end up i was ard 5m from stop line. den i reversed. didnt realise flash thou. but it was so obvious i beat red lite. u tink i will kena anithing? it was 1130 pm

Usually the timer is set for 5sec right after the red light appear,so if you stop dead in 5 m in before 5 sec,you should be fine plus there must be a flash to confirm that an offence is captured,unless the camera was a dummy all along...!!! remember ,dun challenge the traffic light,cause it will challenge you....

True.. For wat i noe the camera will activate only 5sec after it turn red. But don take it too granted.. Since u ride at night den sure can see flash if kenna caught.. Should be fine...

Actually no need to wait for letter,a big flash from the unit will even attract the most blurrest person beating the light in hot afternoon...so you can't even miss it..

ride safe always.look for tell-tale signs that the traffic lights r gonna change.dat way,u'll better anticipate n can brake on time.otherwise.....what if there are ppl already crossing the road even b4 traffic lights turn to red???consider this

Why does the camera take 3 pictures when someone crosses the sensor when it turns red? So that the 3 pictures can show the vehicle crossing the junction (or not).

The flash is very obvious at night. No flash means did not capture anything most likely. But 5m, that's damn far?? I think you might as well just ride on.

same problem here just now .. i stop over the stop line and the light is already on for ...i not sure.. i only concentrate on stopping so i never really saw the light blinking anot lei.. what if i tio letter ? can appeal ?

i saw a lorry tio flashed less than a second b4 the camera flashed. and the lorry managed to stop but after the stop line.

I heard that there is 2 flash, if u pass the line and break let say your 5m, will be capture in the 1st pic and not second dont think got problem and you never see any flash. My friend cant brake in time pass the line, stop pass the line and it flash but he never got any letter. He said maybe the second shoot never got him. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

3 pictures? i heard 2 pictures, 1st one is to show that u have crossed the line, and 2nd one is u have past the line and in the middle of junction already while the traffic was red at that point of time
