Biting on the fray of my hair, I muse upon the way to find the oasis of evermore beyond the vertical horizon, I shall join the windupdeads in owl city, neither my safetysuit nor my red jumpsuit apparatus can save me, cuz I mistook a death cab for cutie in plain white T's...

TS.. For $2 you complain so much.. Its not as if he look at your chain at did nothing.. If you can not afford $2 for someone to tighten your chain.. I suggest you just DIY or stop riding a bike and take our world class public transport system..

Only know how to complain, dont know that the shop owner also has to make a living..

come to think of it. once, i went to my bikeshop. go there to tighten chain, get 1 new screw to cover back the one that came off while riding. FOC! but that's when the boss not around. ;) but when the boss ard, every little detail also must charge. maybe, cos i always go there and the mech just give n take lor.

anyway, some shops charge a little higher than others or provide poor service. if u don't like the shop, stop going there and go try other shops. not good la to come here and defame them. they also want to earn money. if u don't like, just service at other shops and let the better shops earn from your money.

btw, if u want free, can try go petrol station. can pump air free. maybe u can try ask if they do chain tightening for free or not.

2 years ago I went to that shop to buy an oil filter for my s4. I had never been there before, but wanted to check the prices since I wanted to change my eo anyway.

So the fella said HOnda Original oil filter $15. I wanted to diy so ask can give discount or not. He said cannot. I said I will come back later. Of course I never did. Went to Bt Merah and got the oil filter at $12.

Last week I went to LAB. Honda Original oil filter $8 (diy).

imho, do it yourself if the $2 charge is causing you distress.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I went there years back for emergency servicing on my Yamaha. The service was great and they didn't charge labour. If I ever go back there I'll buy that $1000 (BRAND NEW) GN125 if they still have it, lol.

Shops are like girlfriends. One size does not fit all :3

Keep an open mind! There are a hundred alternatives destinations for mechanic work.
