Hello, Guys. Im newbie here. So I just passed my TP & now I want to buy Cub motor. Either Spark or X1-R. Which one is the best bike? I liked X1-R the most but I heard X1-R have some problem. So which one should I go the Spark or the X1-R? Thanks for sharing, People. :]

both engine is the same, just that spark comes with 1disc brake and 1 rear drum brake and x1r comes with 2 disc brake.

 

what kind of problem are u talking abt ?

For Transportation Wise X1r Is An Ideal . For Racing (Fast) Wise Go For Spark (Clutch) .

*I did not say x1r not good or not fast. just my 2cents . cheers bro !

What I read from the tread. X1-R stall easily, Stall must engage Neutral first then can kick start. There's lots of complaining bout X1-R. I just love the X1-R design compared then Spark.

prefer 135LC auto-clutch, easy to ride and great low rpm torque :)

 

BUT better take brand new bike, those used bike was mod like hell :sian:

135LC comes with Auto-Clutch? Same goes to X1-R right? If you want the Sports Rim and comes with Kick-Start. If Spokes Rim comes with E-Start(Push-Start). So you mean Spark is easy to ride compared to X1-R? Great low rpm torque, what do you mean by that? Correct me if I made a mistakes.

both x1r n spark are the same...only diff is design n mod accessories... its much better to use with clutch ...especially for guys...clutchless will make u sian after a while...i also had to choose between spark n x1r...but beause of the accessories, i took spark...

bro..honestly...when i want to buy spark..i tot kick start is going to be hard... but its actually nothing to worry especially 1st hand bike... u can get shop to mod for e-start but i dun think its necessary...

Spark and X1-R, the gear shifting are different.

Spark is N1234N1234 (Rotary)*

X1-R is 1N234(Big Bike Replica)

 

yes, great low rpm torque u can feel when heavy traffic and traffic jam also,immediate respond when u throttle.Seems u are prefer on hand-clutch,

i dont want talk more. :)

one more is your left hand no need to suffer any more:angel:

Entirely up to you, like me, i prefer Spark, simply because i find X1-R to be no offence to X1-R riders fugly..

If u like x1r better, den go get it. Both bikes are about the same and has alot of accessories.. so might as well get the one dat u like the most.

easy stall engine?(idling too low?) for new bike dont have this problem....

 

only have extra wear and tear parts, the Auto-Clutch assembly, noneed worry about this for new bike.

using in the correct method, this component should last about haft of the COE:-

1.change EO and oil filter according the schedule.

Ref. from service manual:-

EO-every 6000km

oil filter-every 12000km

2.always move on 1st gear.

3.nv "force" the engine at low speed on higher gear.

 

Great low RPM torque is the force bring u from stationery until the bike moving(normally is below 3000RPM).the power just like scooter when moving off.

 

I am prefering Spark auto,

1. coz i am quite fed-up with manual clutch :sian: .If i fed-up with auto clutch again, i also can make a conversion to manual clutch(had 2 type of manual,Full clutch and Dual Clutch).:angel:

2. a lorry of accessory can choose :angel:

3. i dont want suffer my left hand when traffic jam. :cheeky:

 

for your recommendation:

if u have friend ride Spark or X1-R, just borrow for a short ride(carefully,at your own risk for riding w/o insurance), feel the different.

haha me myself ride a x1r. i think that riders either like x1r or spark. i like x1r myself and i think spark is fugly (no offence to spark riders too). haha.

ohh, must change to neutral first before kick start because when u clutch in there is no compression. hence u have to change to neutral den kick start. but i believe spark is also the same ? am i right?
