What is your interpretation of this promo?

Hi all, please refer to the screenshot or visit the website. Theres a few promotion offer but this one caught my interest. Its like buy 1 get 1 smaller one free.

 

1-free moriwaki exhaust pipe if the bike is paid in full cash

any daelim used bike of your choice if it is less than $2000

 

To me its very self explanatory, if I pay 9k cash for new VJF250 aka Roadwin 250, I get 1 free exhaust pipe and a 2nd hand daelim bike that cost less than $2000. Of course, I am a class 2A holder.

 

Everyone else agree with how i perceive the information?

 

But why is it that when I went to the shop at Midview Building Bukit Batok, they don't know about such promotion, and quite sarcastic/cold to me?

 

I emailed the sales general email, the person ask me where I got the information and have never heard of it. Refer to the screenshot of my email.

SBF discourages defamation against shops and negative comments. Thus please consider this thread as a clarification and seeking of 2nd opinions regarding the definitions of this promotion.

I'd say after reading the ad, I'd have to agree with your interpretation of the "promotion".

 

The best way to avoid any such internal miscommunication is to bring down a laptop, or smartphone (everyone has one nowadays), and show the staff the details of the promotion stated on their shops website. You may then be able to claim your promotion, or at the very least you will get a clarification on what they actually mean.

 

If they do not provide a clarification and are still unwilling to honour the ad, you can then promptly bring the situation to CASE.

My interest in the bike like died down already because kena turned off. The consumer trust has been broken. If the sales and shop dont even know their own promotion, God knows what will happen in future if I want to send in for maintenance/servicing

Imagine if they say ,"got such thing? When did we quote you this price?"

 

My friend 3GS I-phone cannot open their website because the website not really xhtml compatible. The applet or whatever plugin refuses to load.

 

I have a laptop but who would expect to bring a laptop to buy a bike...haha.

actually, they neber mention FREE Daelim used bike of your choice (cost less than $2000).

 

So at most it sounded like "buy another Daelim used bike of your choice (cost less than $2000)".

 

 

 

 

 

But their version seems lagi way off..

Combine the 2 statements together - they mean to say "Trade in a Daelim used bike OF YOUR CHOICE (less than $2000)"?!?! Come on la, realistically, how many will own > 1 daelim? some more their service so good..

 

 

 

Bottomline - where got so Ho2 Kang3 (Good lobang) wan? You see this type of "deal", u better run!

u probably can ask for moriwaki exhaust pipe.

it's illegal unless u send for lta approval, dun think cka will do it 4 u.

they dun give u can sue them in court if u have the time n money.

 

as for free 2nd hand daelim below S$2k.

i believe they sell all used daelim bikes above S$2k, fat hope if there is one most probably time for scrap yard.

I will see their second reply to my second email since Saturday night. Guess Sunday not working.

 

If we were to go with JackOHJack's interpretation, it can also be said that the 1 KBC full face helmet with raincoat, cover, gloves isn't free either because it does not specifically says "free" in that line. Fruit for thought here...

Yeah, the second hand bikes there quite expensive. We saw one white colour bike. cost 3k. If only have second hand 2B bike above 2k, my friend actually want to top up with cash because he just sold off his CB400. That's why we went to the shop.

They replied that the published promotion offer on their website was a mistake.Refer to screenshot of my gmail. CKA has deleted that line from their website as of 26th April 2010 after my email.

 

Sales staff was friendly in email but still, there was serious misrepresentation (which can litigated) and inconvenience present.

 

Looks like the exhaust pipe was never meant to be given away, stsoh

 

Moving on, end of thread and story.

so when they say... "Free Bridgestone tyre front & back"

does it mean the original VJF250 doesnt come with tyres?

 

i really double it was a mistake.

maybe a mistake from a line or a word..

but 2 lines of non-errornous mistake???
