ya i bought my bike at 2nd hand . i just come back from my bike shop . he say coz of my carb is big den buring of petrol in my exhaust . he say change back carb jiu wont have tis problem le . btw my carb is SP carb

I just realise than all stock bikes can backfire too.

My wave loves to backfire during heavy braking with pillion.

Full throttle, close throttle and hard on the brake = BANG.

I feel my bike pains. but i dont know how to prevent it.

I got no clutch..........

Changing back to stock carb might reduce the black smoke. I'm running on SP carb and i dont face the problem of black smoke.

 

What cause the problem is that your jettings are too big which allows more fuel into your carb but because the air that is flowed into your carb is not enough to burn up the petrol properly, the unburnt fuel is than 'throw' out of the exhaust.

 

To solve the problem, lower your jetting size and get the correct air/fuel ratio tuning.

 

If you happen to find out that your bike is throwing out white smoke like 2 stokes, high chance that your valve seal is damaged or your piston ring is finished.

It is still better to consult proper bike shops not those black shops which just tells you to overhual for almost everything.

for stock bike u use 19/17 oversize valves. make sure u trust ur mechanic.. cos the valve clearance gap MUST BE CORRECT.. if they just plug and play w/o doing the valve clearance of the valves, you get **** performance..

 

for racing block u can use 22/17.

 

FC confirm down, power confirm up if ur mech does it well..

 

not forgetting, your piston MIGHT need to modify to suit the big valves head.. and wear and tear confirm higher, but torque, acceleration & power increase CONFIRM + chop have

 

 

Hmm, so that means i can buy ready made ones? I'm lost about this valve thing. Planning to modify my engine once i recieved my insurance payout.

i never put airbox in my bike . mine inside only got carb and air filer . btw jetting mean ? sry i abit slow . u got any shop to intro ?

Nice place with a mini beach.

I also saw an unregistered mini scambler. Fun in the park lol...

Can camp there too.

Its a small little thing in your carb which controls the amount of fuel that enters the carb. It is a small bronze/gold colour looking thing. =)

ask urself 1 thing..

 

no matter how you mod, the power is stil limited..

 

 

imagine u top speed on ur spark, i ride s4..

 

i go beside u.. i wave at u.. i open throttle or drop 1 gear n drag.. u smell my smoke..

 

 

yes some ppl say spark can clear meter 190.. but ur 190 = s4 190 meh? the most onli 160-170 i think..

I went on saturday.

I too bored liao so i went exploring abit and to test how good is OGK FF4.

Places checked out Sembawang park, Bottle Tree park, upper pierce reservoir.

 

sadly upper pierce opens from 6.00am to 7.30pm.. the gates will be closed.

 

Bottle tree park is small and pathetic but newly build RC car race tracks.

 

Sembawang park is the best. got bbq pit, can set up tent and got beach.

My review on OGK FF4:

-kept me cool during 1230 - 1530hr of my adventure.

-when traveling back to camp at night, too cold. must some vents.

 

Cons:

-quality not to my standard.

a tiny plastic broke while i taking out my visor, now the side pod is abit loose but post no disturbance during riding.
