Bike Buying Tips???

hey guys & gals,

im a newbie here taking my 2B TP just next wk

 

really needs any advices on what should i be looking for when buying bike such as previous owners, stock parts, servicings, plates, coe etc... as i am really a noob and dont even know anything abt bike parts

 

also, how much can a used nsr sp cost? total cost with insurance, coe, rd tax? and how much is the minimum downpayment that most shops can accept? im 27 this yr and tp is just ard the corner.

The most important tip to me is : Bring a friend who has a lot of knowledge about bikes.

Do not jump in at the first quotation a bike shop throws at you.. scout for several shops.. several locations.. Shops in different locations may offer you different prices. You can also do a price survey by sending emails to the advertisers in the forum, since many of the shops have 2nd hand SP. Hope it helps:cheeky:
